The kids had their "Harvest Party" at school today, they always have a good time.
Next up, out to Uncle Scott and Auntie Amber's for some Trick or Treating!
A little spooky dinner and games while waiting for it to get a bit darker.
They love getting to ToT with their cousins.
Hailee little Miss Supergirl.
Our Jump Scare family...I hope the kids never out grow our theme costume fun.
Cousin Tyler is always a good Halloween sport.
We spent about 3 hours gathering treats...my legs are going to be sore tomorrow.
Baya came along...she was a trooper. She didn't get freaked out or scared at all, she took it all in stride and had a blast.
Happy Halloween everyone!

Patient Auntie.
If you told me Kitsune was going to take to our new pup like a patient forgiving momma dog I would have said you are crazy....but here she is doing just that. I can not believe my bitchy alpha girl is being such a sweet Auntie to Baya.
The boys enjoying a break in the rain. Quincy is healing well, slow, but seems to be going in the right direction.
Basketball is back in full swing. This year will be the hardest yet, 3 kids on 3 different teams (Jericho thinks he wants to try wrestling this year, but isn't sure)...most practice on the same nights at different gyms. Whew.

Kitty Day.
Happy cat day!!
We have lost a few cats over the last two years. Down to just 3 now...thankfully they seem to have learned to come home at night.
Crazy Drusilla, she is sassy as ever.
Willow, totally sweet to everyone and everything...except Dru.
S'mores...so handsome.

Jump Scare!
Jericho's pick on the theme this year, made it easy with store bought costumes for a change.
Five Nights At Freddy's characters, Xan is Bonnie, Hayden Freddy, Lily Chica, and Jericho Foxy.
Jason was a security guard and I was Marionette. Originally Hayden was to be Marionette and I was going to be Freddy, hence why her costume looks a little big....and why I felt dang near naked LOL.
The kids were so excited for the costumes, though after wearing them I strongly believe they prefer the homemade ones much more.
My face was the hardest part of the costumes this year...and I had to sew my three buttons on in the car, in my bra LOL.
Our dear friends annual costume party was a blast, as always!
Our spooky dish...didn't get a pic after it cooked, but the recipe was bomb. Now my fave meat loaf ever.
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
3/4 cup Ritz round crackers, crushed
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup finely shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
2 eggs
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon seasoned salt (such as Morton® Nature's Seasons® Seasoning Blend), or to taste
Sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons barbeque sauce (such as Stubb's®)
Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and grease the foil.
Mix ground beef, onion, crackers, milk, Cheddar cheese, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoned salt together in a bowl.
Transfer beef mixture to the prepared baking pan.
Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and barbeque sauce together in a bowl until sauce is smooth. Spread 1/2 of the sauce onto the entire beef mixture.
Bake in preheated oven until no longer pink in the center, about 50 to 60 min. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
