The Mult&More QOTW this week is...What are some of your favorite parenting myths?
Cereal in bottles to help babies sleep through the night. Not only does this not work for most families, but it is also a choking hazard and some studies point to it increasing obesity risks.
Turning a child front facing ASAP will make them ride in the car better. Not always true, and the guidline of being 2 years old before turning them around is there for a reason.
We had some fun out in the back yard today.
The girls can be so sweet to each other sometimes.
Walking off to the "dark forrest" they really love their cartoons LOL
Trying to get more leaves using their sticks. They wanted to eat them like sloths...another cartoon.
Jericho enjoying some fresh air too. The boy needs some hair, why are all my kids bald for so long?!?! LOL
Working on sitting up. He did really well for a good 2 min then he sort of leaned/fell over slowly.
Actually, the cereal in the bottle worked for my trio. We did it all the time and they did plump up and it kept them full for a while.
ReplyDeleteAdorable pics! I love the idea of bringing the jumparoo (we have the same one) outside!! :o)
ReplyDeleteOur pediatricaian warned against cereal in a bottle as well, but it seems like a lot of pedis still recommend it. When I asked about it his response was more to the effect of, "Well, how would you like some solid food thrown in with your beverage?"
ReplyDeleteYour kids are adorable! My three are 7 months, and we're working on sitting as well... after about 5-10 seconds they topple :)
