8 months...and walking!*

Mr. Jericho Miles is 8 months old today...and trying to walk. Check him out...he is so amazing, and so very happy...just listen to him hehehe!

We did a little at home weigh in today...Xander is 39 1/2lbs, Hayden 37 1/2lbs, Lily 35lbs and Jericho is a whopping 19 1/2lbs. My beefy babies :)

What...everyone just sitting quietly, what is this?!

Oh, a new love affair with Alice In Wonderland.

Lily is saying how beautiful she is in her pretty dress, can always count on Lily for a kind word.

3 of the 4 were being cheese monkeys :)

Today's nap time was hit and miss. Lily went into the room about an hour early on her own and passed out for an hour. Xander passed out for a bit on the couch. And Hayden stayed up the whole time...I bet you can guess who was the most cranky tonight.

Night 3 in big kid beds went pretty good, we had a biting incident but other than that they settled down pretty well. Hayden was actually still in her bed when we went in to check on them tonight. But so many people loved the pic of Hayden half out of her bed last night that I went in search of a blast from the past pic. She has a history of passing out like this LOL.

In other news...I have just 1lb to lose until I am back to where I started with Jericho's pregnancy! I hope to lost another 10...we'll see. This pic for some reason makes me look thinner than I am, I like it LOL.

Go Fish!

The trio were up, and running around their room, bright and early this morning. Since they couldn't get to anything else to destroy they started tearing the decals off the walls...of course.

We pulled out one of the games they got for their Bday...Go Fish has never been so fun LOL
This time we just worked on taking turns, "hooking" the fish cards and putting them in each players boat. We will move up in dificulity as they get better.

They were really great about passing the fishing pole to the next person when their turn was over!

Then Jericho woke up and wanted to chew the cards so the game had to come to an end LOL.

Nap time did not go so well today, I think they were quiet for all of 20 min of their 2 hour nap time. This is what tired boys do when they play instead of nap.

Hayden was putting the babies down for a nap with Xander LOL...Lily wanted to join him too.

Then they took the babies to the "swing." I love how creative and imaginative they are getting with their play these days.

Lily interpreted for Hayden again today. Lily is by far our best talker, she is also the most clear..it comes in handy sometimes. Hayden was trying to tell me something but I wasn't quite understanding her. I asked her to repeat herself 3 or 4 times but was still not getting it. I just looked over at Lily, raised my eye brows and she told me exactly what Hayden was saying. She has done this a couple times now, and I thought it was very sweet both times LOL.

Bed time in big kid beds take 2...it was another good night. We could hear them running about playing for maybe 30 min but they settled themselves down and went to sleep. We went in to check on them before going to bed ourselves....I think we are going to need to look into a bed rail for Hayden LOL.

Big kid beds...hold me.

We had hoped to take the kids to the Fair today, but Xander forced us into another direction.
I knew it was the beginning of the end when Xander broke the 3rd and final crib tent, just a little over 3 weeks ago. This morning he jumped out of his crib and opened their door and started playing in the living room. Jason and I were awake but still laying in bed talking. I heard something and told Jason that I thought Xander was out of the bedroom. Sure enough the lil turd greeted Jason with a "Hi Daddy" when Jason walked out to investigate. So even though we wanted to hold off another 6 months if possible, we went to work rearranging their room and turned their cribs into beds. I cried a couple times...not 100% sure if it was because my little babies are growing up so fast, or if it was out of fear we would be saying goodbye to our wonderful bed and nap time sleepers.
Lots of work in progress pics.

The girls were kept busy with a movie, but Xander and Jericho wanted to help.
The start, Xan already testing out Lily's barless bed :)

So helpful LOL

Jericho too.

Xander went to test out his own bed.

Xander's side done.

The girl's side.

We cleaned out everything we thought they could possibly mess with or tear up, we also locked the closet doors so they can't get in there and trash their clothes.

We called the girls in to show them what we had done, we weren't too sure if they would like the change. All three of them went nuts, they LOVE their big kid beds! Lily and Hayden kept hugging our legs and telling us "thank you"...Lily added "it's so beautiful" and "it's so nice and cozy" LOL.

Lots of jumping on and off each others beds.

The only things we left in their room were the radio and baby monitor...didn't take long for them to find em...I just hope messing with them wears off, soon.

We had a lot of pigpiles too hehehe.

We had to hide their rugs under their beds until we get some sticky something to keep them from sliding. Xander already went down twice because he was running and they slipped out from under him.

They had fun in their room for the rest of the day...lots of playing and happy screams, it was making us a little worried for bed time.

It may be a first night fluke, we will have to see, but they went to bed with no problem at all...though they did crank up their music way too loud. They didn't even try to get out of their room, we will be locking their door to make sure they stay in there...and safe (makes me too nervous to have them out roaming the house while we sleep,) but they didn't try the knob at all.

We went in about an hour after putting them down just to check on them. Everyone was out cold, and in their own beds, we were wondering if any of them would be sleeping with someone else.

Xander and Hayden's beds have no rail, and Hayden was pretty close to the edge. We planned to go back in before we headed to bed and move her back against the wall.

We were too late. When we went back a couple hours later Hayden was on the floor, she didn't make a peep when she fell...it's not a far fall so I am guessing she didn't even wake up.

Jason picked her up and put her back without even waking her :)

I gotta say it wasn't as bad as I have feared it would be for the last year...but before I declare it a success we need to make sure the first night wasn't just beginners luck!

I had to throw this pic in...Jericho was nursing on the boob and his toe at the same time LOL. It was actually nice, he has started snapping my tank straps while he eats...which is very annoying, so I was happy he was busy with his foot.

A new look for the kids closet!

We got a good start on the kids closet today, not quite done but almost there. The girls loved it, Xander couldn't care less LOL. His future wife will be happy, he seems to be the type that will gladly give up the big closet for her clothes...and the little one for her shoes :)

We have a little fish in training!

Today was a fun day. 1st we took the kids to a park for a couple hours, they played and marched and explored with Jason while I got to talk to a new group of ladies I met.

Next up we had a little pool side BBQ with some friends and their kiddos. It was a beautiful 83 degree day, perfect for spending 6 hours in the pool.

Xander and Hayden are more interested in playing in the yard and with the toys, but LilyBug is a budding water baby.
She actually got some use out of her Puddle Jumper today, she was very brave and started to leave the steps and float a bit...she even was kicking her legs!

Lisa and Kenzie and Dina and her Irish triplets joined us...always fun times with this bunch!

Jericho and Kenzie...the romance continues :)

The cars got some use today, there was a roll over accident...with Xander on the roof, no one was hurt though. I was in the pool or I would have gotten a few pics of the whole thing Hahaha.

Feeding the rugrats :)
