Here tadpole, tadpole, tadpole.

The kids have all been doing tadpole stuff in school...which means we must attempt to catch some. I love tadpole, and frogs, and catching them is 75% of the fun of course. Today the tadpoles won LOL.

So excited to explore and look for baby frogs.

We saw a momma and her 2 ducklings.

Beautiful day, loving this weather again!

Getting right down to it.

Hmmm that doesn't look like a tadpole guys. We saw a hundred baby fish all over the place.

The banks are super muddy and slick, I fell in first...Jason was nice enough not to laugh too hard, or take any pictures. I did not repay the favor however HAHAHA. We each fell in twice, Hayden fell in once too.

Baby fish was all we managed to capture, and release, today.

Special seat for my little monkey.

Kitsune got run ragged today, good thing she figured out how to drink from a fountain.

She had to wait her turn for another ball toss.

Jason started throwing the ball in the water.

She went in right after it.

Of course the kids wanted to make her keep going in, good thing this dogs gas tank never runs out.

Then she was put through a few obstacles.

She is so fun, she will do anything for a toy.

Well the tadpoles were elusive today, but we all had a great time anyway.

Happy 86th!

We spent the day at Grandma's for the kiddos Great Grandpa's birthday party. It was a great time, but the kiddos accidentally over heard we may be moving in with Grandma for the summer. We haven't wanted to let them in on that bit of news until we were sure that we were going to need a place to stay between selling our current house and being able to move into the new one...didn't want to get their hopes up, but now the cat is out of the bag. I suppose the chances of us not needing a little time at Grandma's is pretty impossible so I am not too worried about disappointing them. I don't know who is more excited, the kids or Grandma :) Just hope we don't get too used to having a pool in our back yard this summer LOL.

Jason and his Grandpa. 86 and the man still skiis...pretty incredible dude.

Beautiful day to have dinner out side.

Then it was gift time...and the silliness began. Great Aunt Julie brought the mustaches...which were totally awesome, and a bit tickly huh Jericho Hahaha!

I got too many hilarious photos...this was so funny. Great Grandpa and his great grand kids. The trio got to do the math when they asked how old he was today. He said 80 years older than you :)

The year was 1929...pretty cool booklet of stuff from the year he was born.

The mustache fun just kept going and going.

Aren't we cute LOL.

I actually do not make a very good looking boy Hahaha.

Happy birthday Frank XOXOX!!!

Little diva do.

Auntie Stacie was featured in Lily's homework this week. The kiddos love their Auntie...they just wish they got to see her more often.

Hayden still hates having her hair brushed, I swear this child has the most sensitive scalp in the world. We talked her into a new short hair cut today. I think she is going to love it...I know I will LOL.

Just too cute, but does it have to make my almost 7 year old look like a teenager?

Rock it Haddie...little Diva.

I have seriously been slacking on my recipes, here is a new one we all loved...pizza dogs!

You need hot dogs, buns, cheese...shredded and string, and your desired toppings. The girls had to have white sauce, pineapple and Canadian bacon, the rest of us did red sauce, pepperoni and black olives. Just put a little sauce on the bun, slice the dogs open, cut the string cheese stick in half, place half inside the cut open dog and half next to it in the bun, then layer toppings and shredded cheese as you wish. Bake at 350 until the cheese is melted and the dogs are hot. Good stuff!

Digging for thunder eggs.

Our 3 + hour drive to Bend last night was uneventful...except for a puking Kitsune during the last 30 minutes. Another major bonus to feeding your dog a raw diet, in addition to the healthier dog, cleaner teeth, almost nonexistent poops...is very little and totally non-smelly vomit. All the pro's are good, since it is a little more of a hassle and a bit more expensive to feed raw.
We got settled in and passed out around midnight...but were up bright and early to go digging for treasure.

A little funny from this morning....
While loading up the kids to hit the ranch. Jericho was of course not listening. When we all got in the car and spent 5 minutes telling him to get in Jason and I decide to start driving away without him. He started crying before we even got to the end of the driveway and the trio were yelling at us to not leave him. He got his little butt right in the car. Then Xander said "you guys almost left your son, do you want me to take you to Dr. Phil?" LMAO.

When we got to Richardson's Rock Ranch the kiddos we super excited to see peacocks and chickens roaming the grounds.

Once we got our equipment we drove out to a couple different digging sites. The place is HUGE, it takes almost 15 minutes just to drive from site to site.

Everyone got right into the swing of things.

It was a beautiful and hot day.

Jason and the kids did most of the hard work while I, um, documented ;)

Kitsune had a great time running all over.

Even did a little digging for thunder eggs herself LOL.

Driving from site to site we had a few close encounters with the bovine kind.

There were some pretty amazing views!

When the kiddos got a little bored with digging they had a blast exploring.

I could spend all day out here, but after a couple hours we had enough eggs....for now, we will be back.

We ended up with 10 lbs of eggs, we had a few cut open there but Jason is going to cut the rest open later.

I would say our hunt was a success, everyone passed out as soon as we got in the car LOL.

We got to have dinner and a too short visit with Auntie Stacie before we headed home. Never again will we make a trip to Bend with less than a two night stay...that drive back to back is a killer. What a great trip though!!
