Well we didn't procrastinate on Scooby and Scrappy...but did manage to fall behind on Xanders Mystery Machine. I did a rough drawing of it tonight, too big of course so I will have to make some adjustments, but got the basic shape.
He is so excited to get it done.
Spent some time with the critters today, the piggies are getting pretty big. Wild Style is still the biggest, and bossiest, she is almost 5 months old now. The President Business is now 4 1/2 months, and the sweetest and biggest trouble maker, Miss Unipiggie, is almost 4 months. Trouble maker because she can still squeeze her little piggie self through the chicken door, then helps herself to their chicken food. This is part of the reason they are about to move into their own pen.
Prince Charming, as handsome as ever.
The chickens pay Unipiggie back, by helping themselves to as much pig food as they can sneak off with.
Ariel is a HUGE chicken, I didn't know English Orpingtons got as big as roosters LOL...I hope she lays giant eggs!
The hogs are growing well, we are trying our best to balance growth without letting them get fat. Lucky for them, going into winter they are going to get a little extra feed.
They are good looking pigs, can't wait for babies...hopefully in the spring!
Unipiggie is still the only one that loves belly rubs, the other two will accept petting...but they don't seem to enjoy it like she does. You can make her flop down just about anywhere at anytime just by starting to rub her belly. Such a cutie!
The kids adore this little pig.
I got some new pics of the buns today too. Can't believe how grown up they look, they are only a little over 3 months old. They are growing and their silver is really starting to come in. The fur on these buns is amazing, Silver Fox glove, hat and slipper linings are in my future...if I can figure out how to tan and sew rabbit pelts that is. Spring babies expected from these guys too. Pleasant Dreams Farm is going to have a busy...and fun, spring I think!
Batman is a big boy.
The girls are getting lots of silver...it is a little harder to tell on Kitty since she is blue.
Firestar is really silver...hope she keeps it up.
Jericho has felt a little under the weather the last couple of days. Yesterday he was a bit cranky too...but he still managed to make me laugh.
You know what is funnier than a 4 1/2 year old grumpy boy telling his dog "go away Kitsune, I'm not in the mood" ... nothing LOL.
