Tide pool exploration.

Last day of our little getaway. We hit up the tide pools in Otter Rock, OR. We love this spot, it was a little busier today than we are used to, but still fun!
Lots of great finds today. Xan checking out some tiny fish.
This is a Chiton.
It was alive and well, after taking this pic of it's legs and mouth we flipped it back over and left it alone.

Big soft...alive, purple starfish.

The kiddos got to take turns holding it gently, then put it back where we found it.

Lots of dead crabs...this little one.

And this huge one. Jericho screamed "Get it to the restaurant right away" I had to break it to him that he was not good to eat anymore.

The kids looking for our name that we carved on our trip a couple years ago.

We got there about an hour before the tide started coming in. Kids are crazy, cold water never stops them.

Some found deep spots by accident LOL.

So handsome.

Ugh thanks Jericho...great picture of you LOL.

Some great finds.

Dinner time...at the Rogue Brewery.

So ready for a nap and not a 3 hour drive home LOL. Great weekend...until next time!
