Last batch for the year.

Hayden's volleyball team is on a little winning streak, got the W again today. She is really loving this sport, loves the fast pace. If she had a complaint about softball it would be how much down time there is.

Willow's babies are getting big quick. Such sweet friendly babies despite not being handled their first 3 1/2 weeks or so. She just has sweet tempered babies.

Jericho found a surprise in his closet. Holly decided that would be the best spot to have 4 kittens. They look to be just a couple days old. 1 boy and 3 girls.

 

Busy sports weekend.

It was a long tough weekend for Hayden's team, 5 games, 5 losses. Two of those by just 1 run. Hayden played her heart out. It's tough to watch at times, but she sure gives it her all out there. 

In the middle of games, we had to run Lily to a birthday party. It was a fun break even though I hate, and suck at, bowling.

Got a nice ride in before the crazy weekend starts. Rain is pretty much here...my horse fun days are numbered. I'm enjoying while I can. 

7th grade school pics arrived, none of the kids like their photos LOL. I love them!!!

Tired already.

This little bit of truth hit me today. As Hayden's volleyball team won all three sets today, and I look forward to a weekend of 5 softball games, a football game, a cheer commitment, a birthday party...and who knows what else will pop up. It's busy up in here. My weeks are insane. Hayden has volleyball practice 3 days a week. Games twice a week. Then she has softball practice 3-4 days a week and games most weekends. Basketball soon to start up taking the place of volleyball. Lily has cheer twice a week and games once a week. Plus drama and garden club once a week. Jericho has football practice 3-4 days a week and a game on the weekend. Xander is currently deciding on which sport he will be forced to play wants to participate in this year so he will be joining the schedule soon too. Everything from our house is at least a 30 minute roundtrip drive, and for the traveling games we usually have to get a hotel or take the RV and plan to be gone all weekend. It’s a lot. I hope they appreciate all this LOL. 

Willow surprised us with babies...found 4 under the house. They look about 4 weeks old already, sweet as if we have been handling them since day 1.

We are taking care of our friends pony, Sugar, this week. She is just the sweetest.

Silly pup.

Trying to watch Jericho’s practice tonight with this silly baby. Eleven is so needy LOL. She is getting to be such a big girl, almost 6 months old already! Unfortunately she still pukes in the car...can't wait for her to grow out of that. She has some stranger danger over defensiveness going on, fairly common for the breed as youngsters, she doesn't like random people within about 5 feet of us. She is learning quickly to just watch these outsiders and keep looking to me for how she should react, instead of taking it upon herself to decide to bark like a crazy ass. She is doing well, typically they grow out of this with maturity and confidence as they age.

Rain ruins all the fun.

Our fun summer of riding is almost over, not happy about all the rain that floods my friends arenas. 

The girls didn’t get the W today, but they fought hard. Hayden is really loving this sport.

Lily and Xander are doing garden club again this year...they have been bringing home yummy fruits and veggies. Today I got these beautiful flowers, one of my very faves...Sunflowers.

Getting closer.

School is never ending...almost done with the course work of semester 2/4, then I will be doing my 1st of 2 internships. Teaching an old brain new tricks, it’s painful…but when it starts to click, that’s a pretty good feeling.

Lily got her uniform, still waiting on poms. Actually made it over half way through the game before the rain showed up.
