See that bigger pile on the right above the scissors...that is all the extra squares. May have to make a couple more dresses, we'll see just how much of a PITA the first two are first.
When we were done cutting we lets the kids come in for a little craft time. The girls used dry black beans and turned their previously painted suns into sunflowers.
Xan had some fun with dried split peas.
We were treated to a rainbow outside our window this evening. This prompted Haddie and Lily to sing the rainbow song about 20 times.
You need a rotary cutter. MAkes things much faster and easier. Not to mention less pain in the hands.
ReplyDeleteI love the sunflowers!!! That's a great project. Can't wait to see the dresses! I'm always amazed at the projects you take on and actually complete. . . . I just think about it and never get around to really doing it. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies!
ReplyDeleteThat does sound like a much better way to do this Christine...but with the amount of cutting and sewing fabric I do, or lack there of, I don't think it would get much use :)
Thanks Heather...I think my MIL is tired of me finding sewing projects for her to "help" with LOL
