We had this backyard camping/sleep over trip planned for weeks...the triplets have been driving us nuts with way too many "How many more days until our camp out?" and "Is our camping trip tomorrow?" questions day after day. Finally today was the day, and of course they woke up at 6:30 this morning ready to go. Ugh I hope the adult beverages are flowing early LOL.
Xander has had 3 "girlfriends"...some are more in his mind than others. Two of the three are coming on this camping trip, and they both were telling their moms that they were looking forward to seeing Xander. As we pulled up Jason told Xander that two of his girlfriends are here...my super sweet and sensitive boy says "Ut oh, TWO." "Ut oh, awkward." and "Jericho, we are going to have to run from them." LMAO!!
Ah Lisa, you never disappoint...the bar, along with everything else, was fabulous :)
We had 4 families camping on our friends property. Jason was smart and got the tent up before the drinks got flowing.
It was another hot one...so the water fun started right away.
Barry busy getting water balloons getting prepped for war.
I passed out some juice to the waiting troops.
Nick and Lisa ended up with like 13 kids and 9 adults...quite the crowd.
Michele and I enjoying some drinks!
Good times!
Tent up. Now that we have a place to sleep, let the fun continue.
The water fight got under way.
Lisa pulled out the big guns.
Get em!!!
RUN!!!
So much fun.
Barry and Michele...it has been a lot of fun getting to hang out with these guys again.
Mr. Red Feather wanted to be throwing water balloons.
Shots...the first of a few LOL.
These three old dogs just met today, and all three got along without a single growl or raised lip.
Hot tub anyone.
Lisa really out did herself on this camp out party. She had so many fun things for the kiddos to do, including decorating masks. Haddie loved working on hers.
Bug did a nice job too.
Lisa had the guys busy helping with the next kiddie craft idea.
Jericho took a spin around the hot tub too.
While Xan was busy "diving" as he called it LOL.
Pretty big step for a kid that is not a big fan of water.
G got loved on a lot today.
Making snack necklaces to eat while they watch a bedtime movie.
Ready to watch the movie and eat their creations.
Rio 2 was good...I've been told, I didn't do much watching LOL.
Everyone crashed hard. Jericho actually asked to go to bed before the movie was over, that is unheard of. Jason walked him to our tent and said he was out in less than 5 minutes.
I love this big tent...there will be room for all of us for years and years.
Thank you Lisa and Nick, you throw a fabulous sleep over party! Can't wait for next year :)
