Check up's and swimming.

Jericho had his 18 month check up today...though he turned 19 months today. My little bean, he has caught the trio in height, but not weight. Jericho is 33 1/2" tall, same that Xander was at his 18mo check up! My skinny boy is only 24 lbs though, which is 5lbs lighter than Xander was...heck he is even lighter than Lily was by 3 lbs LOL. He is perfectly on track and doing great!

After his Doc appt. Jericho and I met up with Jason and the triplets for a little swim at Grandma's. Lily is still the only one that will get all the way in and attempt to swim. Well, except for Jericho, thankfully with his life jacket on.
Xander thought he got his first bee sting...but I don't think he actually got stung. I think he got buzzed in his ear, then he went nuts pulling on it and dunking it in a bucket of water LOL. We didn't see any sting marks or anything, so I think he just freaked at the sound.

We had a yummy chicken burger dinner, it was a lovely day!

Lil man got a bit messy.
Xander loves the police car, someone should tell him his 42 lb self is too big for it...he can't hardly get the thing to move it is so freighted LOL
Cute boy.
As we were leaving the kids noticed that Grandma had put up the Christmas present they made for her last year :) They were so excited!
Another busy day...makes for tired kids!

Fun at the park.

Want to get to sleep in until 9am? ...Well not counting your 19 month olds 2-3 nightly wake ups, ugh. Spend 5 hours at the park, and get your kids in bed about an hour and a half later than usual. So nice LOL.

We went out to Rood Bridge park for some new family photos, we really love the park but it is about an hour from our house so we don't get out there too often. Actually we had Xan, Haddie and Lily's 2nd Bday party here...and did their 2 year pro photos there too! Our fave photog came out and spent almost 2 hours getting some great shots of the kids and our family...can't wait to see them, Amanda you rock, thanks!

After the photos were done, Uncle Skunk, Auntie Amber and Cousin Hailee joined us for a picnic dinner and some play time at the park.

The kids played with their new Tball, they were doing an amazing job hitting the ball. As much as I don't like baseball, we may have to look into Little League LOL.

Jericho was having a blast climbing on everything. Such a beast!

Lily trying out the rings. Go Bug!

Then it was time to toss the football around. We need to remember to bring two next time, one for the kids and one for the adults LOL.

Some last min climbs in before it is time to go home.

Way to go lil buddy :)

Food, glorious food!

Jason and I had to head down to Bend for the night, so our 7 day cleanse has turned into a 6 day cleanse. Neither of us came close to the 10-17 lbs weight loss that the plan touted, but we did lose 5-6 lbs each, at least it is something. I started on the cleanse in the hopes that our fast and junk food rut could be put to an end. I think it has, I think we will both try harder to eat healthy and limit the yummy but oh so bad for you stuff.

I still think the plan was a good one, even though we didn't see a max loss. Some tips and what we ate...

Day 1 All fruit. We stuck to watermelon and cantalope for the larger share, threw in some raspberries, strawberries and blueberries too. I had my breakfast fruit in smoothie form...with just ice of course.

Day 2 All veggies. We ate fresh green beans, zucchini, bell peppers, broccoli, carrots and asparagus. We had them fresh and sauteed with minimal olive oil and no salt garlic powder with a little black pepper too.

The first two days were the hardest, we were cranky and not as energetic as usual...and boy did we crave to give up and eat some real food LOL. Gotta keep up on your 10+ glasses of water daily...I did not do a good job of this.

Day 3 was a mix of fruit and veggies...so we just had a repeat of what we ate the first 2 days.

Day 4 Banana's and milk. You are allowed up to 8 banana's and 3 glasses of milk, I didn't need all 8 of mine I think I only ate 6 or 7 of them. My cravings were starting to go away on this day.

This is when we brought in the wonder soup...which was actually quite good. We made it in a crock pot the night before/early morning of then just kept it on warm all day and ate it as we went. I had 3 bowls on banana day, and one on days 5 and 6. We used cabbage, onions, tomatoes, green beans, asparagus, carrots and meat cubes (on the two days meat was allowed only, it came out of our daily meat allowance.)

Day 5 Beef and tomatoes. We each had 20 oz of tri tip spaced out over the whole day. I did not eat all 6 tomatoes that the plan called for...I got probably 3 or 4 down. It was really good sauteed together. I was feeling good by this day, my hunger was under control and I was a lot less tempted by the kids food LOL.

Day 6 Beef and veggies. We stuck with the 20 oz each, this time we tried flat iron steak....sauteed it up with red bell peppers, broccoli and green beans. I didn't eat all of mine...I think my stomach has shrunk a bit.

Day 7 would have been a day of brown rice and veggies...but just not road trip friendly so we skipped it.

Looks yummy eh?!
We tried to be good on our trip to Bend, it was hard LOL. I just hope I didn't gain all 5 lbs back in two days LOL.
We had to stop for food on our drive, I for once took Jason somewhere I have been that he hadn't. Calamity Jane's has amazing food! I had to take a picture of their menu...look at all the different burgers they have LOL.
They have a fun tradition of having people sign a dollar bill and hang it up. We didn't have one on us, we will have to take the kids there one of these days and add ours :) That must be thousands of dollars.

Oh man, this is so not on the approved list hahaha.

Those burgers were huge...and so yummy!

We had a great time seeing Jason's dad, and getting some time to hang out and have fun with Jason's sister Stacie and her boyfriend David.

Grandma and PopPop Randy had a busy, but fun, couple of days with the munchkins. My boob addict, AKA Jericho, woke up in the middle of the night...as usual. Grandma got him a sippy of milk, she told us that when she tried to give it to him he yelled "NO, BOOBIE" LOL. She said she had to take him out into the living room and turn the light on so he could see it was her. After that he stopped frisking her, took the sippy and went back to sleep. Turd :)

This is not a mosh pit.

I booted the kiddos out side early, it was too hot yesterday to really have fun on the new trampoline so I thought they should get an early start in case it got hot again. The extra room has gone to their heads. I look out the window and see they are just running at each other, then taking each other down to the mat and wrestling. It was a free for all, thankfully they all were having fun and noone was complaining. I headed out to play with them, and make sure we didn't end up with any injuries.

Ut oh Lily I think Xander is coming at you for a take down.
We had some wild hair going on LOL.

Mom come jump with us, mom come jump with us, MOM. Ugh :)
Momma down, no really leave me. Hahaha.
How about a little leg work out.
Pardon the bruises, playing with 4 little kids all day every day can be dangerous :)
Of course everyone wanted a turn...got a work out in today!
Good thing about a "shaved" head, you can keep it up pretty well yourself. I busted out the clippers and took a little off the side..har har :) Will have to ask Jason if I missed any spots.
Today was day 6 of the 7 day GM diet. Jason and I have a last min trip to Bend tomorrow, and since I don't think rice and veggies are going to be too easy on the almost 4 hour trip there, looks like we will have to end it here. I will do my last weigh in tomorrow morning, though I have a feeling it will still be just the same 5 lb loss that I have been sitting at for the last 3 days. Oh well, at least it is something.

Glad we didn't go any bigger.

We decided a week ago that the kids need a bigger trampoline. We really didn't think long term when we bought them the 8 footer a year ago. The 4 of them almost didn't fit on it anymore, and they are doing nothing but getting bigger :P So we sold their old one this last Saturday and have been hunting on Craigslist for a 14-15 ft replacement. We ended up finding one for a great deal and got it put up today. I am so glad we did not try to go any bigger, this thing just fits...it was close.

Jason and I, with a little help from Jericho, got it put together while the trio were at school today.

Jericho was loads of help :)

He gave her a little test run...then almost fell right off, nice catch Dad!
We were trying to get the net up when the kids got home...Xander went right to work helping his Dad.

Wow, they look so small in there.

Big difference from their old one.
It was so hot today, 85 dang! The trio didn't jump too long, but they did get silly over in the shade.

My big boy, he has had a little bit of potty training success over the last couple of days. It is nothing like Hayden, she was pretty much trained in one day...but I do think he is getting it!!!!
Today was day 5 of the cleanse. I still didn't drop anymore weight, hopefully it's coming or I am not going to come close to the 10-17 they say you should lose. I haven't cheated once...so it better pay off LOL. Today was our first taste of meat in 5 days and damn was it good! I didn't quite get all 6 tomatoes down but I did get at least half that. We get more meat tomorrow...YAY!
