Brr...poor snakes.

While the boys were freezing their butts off watching football, the girls were home enjoying a warm fire. 

We have heated our house by this wood stove since moving in back in 2015. The inconsistent heat has not worked well for the snakes. So we turned on the furnace for the first time. Can't say I am unhappy about it.

Shed time.

A little soak, Makto is working on shedding, Seze should be next. Really loving these two, such fun, interesting, and low maintenance critters. I could have 5 more LOL.

Such a good girl.

Freija had a tough day at work with me today. 40 lbs and a clean bill of health. She was a love bug with everyone today. Thankfully our clinic Mastiff was out for the day, he likes to share...but Freija is pushy LOL.

 

Smells like fall.

She pitches a fit whenever I want to put makeup on her. Glad she lets someone do it every now and again. 

When you have birds and snakes so Scentsy is a no-no you make your own. Smells amazing!

Perfomers.

Readers theater was a lot of fun. Sleepy Hollow. Lily is so talented...even the plain old readers theater is fabulous.

Hunt is on.

Hunting for rats can be hard. Eleven’s first trial could have gone better. At least we didn’t get skunked. She got her first leg for her Novice title, need two more. We practice in a closed barn on straw. The trial was outside on hay, she struggled and I rushed her a couple times. I was worried we weren’t going to get any legs today and offered her my glasses since her nose was failing us LOL. 

While Eleven and I were at a Barn Hunt trial, Hayden shopped for dinner then she and Lily cooked it. I’m loving this one kid driving thing. When she isn’t getting speeding tickets that is.

Don’t laugh. I got this in case I need to take the snakes to the vet. Xander made Cheesy Poof try it out LOL.

Back on the court.

Basketball started up for Jericho. Got the W tonight in a close one. 

Spooky Seze.

I swear she has gotten longer already. Seze is the best noodle everyone loves her.

 

What is killing you?

Radium Girls is the current play the high school is doing. What a sad story. Makes you wonder, how safe things really are. The kids did a great job. Lily has to sleep in curlers for her look. 

Slow it down.

Senior night with friends. This may be Hayden’s last night of fun….she got her first speeding ticket.
