Houston, we have a problem!

We are in trouble now, Xander has perfected getting over the baby gate. He can now do it in about 3 seconds flat, without falling 90% of the time...great! My day just got even harder :)
Caught in the act.
Tossing out the loot to his accomplices.
Who take it and book.
Dad got home from work just in time to bust Xander.
The little turd bit Jason in the face the first time he went and grabbed him out, he got a serious talking to, by the 3rd time he was biting himself LOL.

He eventually gave up on getting back in there and went to play with his sisters.

A little music and dance before bed.*

The trio and I were doing a little dancing tonight, while unbeknownst to me, Jason grabbed the camera and decided to record us. You can see Lily and Hayden knew right away but they failed to let me know...so yeah I am in my sweats and just doing a little baby 2 step. I don't know who is more funny to watch me or the twister sisters LOL

End of weekend 2 on the remodel...it looks worse in the pics but a lot of progress is actually being made. We still have a ways to go but I think we should get to paint Saturday..then do floors and I think we will be done :)

Now for a PSA...I watched an episode of Oprah today that made me cry. She had families on who had children, mothers, husbands and friends killed in car accidents due to phone usage while driving. One segment was about a little 9 year old girl who was riding her bike home from school, she was just 15 pedals from home when she was hit and killed by an SUV...the driver was on the phone. People please do not talk on the phone or text while driving. NOT WORTH IT!!! Per the shows statistics if you are talking on the phone (even hands free) you are 4 times more likely to get into an accident...this is the same odds as an .08 drunk driver. If you are texting you are 8 times more likely to get into an accident. Half a MILLION people are injured and 6,000 are killed each year because drivers are talking, texting and e-mailing while behind the wheel. Personally I have very precious cargo in my car and will not risk their lives or mine...or someone else's, because I can't wait to get a phone call or text message.

Big kids are so fun!

It was a fun evening out our way, we had some friends over for dinner tonight and they brought 2 of their kids who are 7 and 9. The trio really dug them, it's not often that they get to be around older kids. Ophelia and Orianna were fun to have over, and they were super nice to the babies. I haven't seen these girls since they were toddlers, it's wild how fast kids grow. Seeing them so grown up now makes me scared at just how quick it will go for us and the trio too. Lily Bug made fast friends with the girls Mom, Leigh, Lily actually went to the window crying when they left tonight. Leigh did use food to get to Lily at first, works on dogs and kids it seems hehehe. Once Lily opened up there was no escape...she even took Leigh for a couple laps around the living room LOL. Though I don't think Leigh minded at all, when they were about to go she grabbed Lily and told her to tell her Mom and Dad to get her a diaper bag and a sleeper she was going home with them :)

Pics from this evening...
Xander trying on Leighs hat.
Hayden taking her cooking pot over to Leigh.
Perfect, perfect use for a cooking pot.
Lily Bug and her new BFF Leigh.
Orianna and the trio playing a little 2 on 2 :)
Bug having a little scarf fun.

These are from a couple days ago...the trio having fun with each other :)

Xan tried to jump in with Hayden...did not work so well.

Our first trip to Munchkin Playland

We braved the end of cold and flu season to get the trio out for a bit of fun. They have been so bored being stuck inside, and so have we! We of course picked the most busy time to go so it was a bit crazy for the first 30 min, but after that it thinned out a little. The kiddos had a really great time, they only got bullied a time or two and for once they didn't do any bullying. I gotta say it was hard to not get involved every time some kid was mean to them, or jacked a toy from them, or told them no they can't play with this or that, or pushed them...I really really wanted to. I am going to have to get used to it I guess. I was annoyed with a couple moms there though. They brought all their crap into the enclosed toddler area, then move across the room and talked with another mom for an hour. Mean while I have to keep my kids from getting into their purses and diaper bags, I really wanted to just let the trio ransack their shit all over the place. Hello you have kids, did you not think maybe you should put your stuff up out of reach or at least stay near it to guard it. I know watching my kids is my responsibility but a little common sense on another mothers part would be helpful. The babies got to climb and go down a slide and just have a lot of fun so the annoyance was totally worth it!

Some pics...
Hayden love crawling through the tunnel under the tree.
Poor Lily getting told by the other little girl "no mine"

Xander wasn't into the tunnel like Hayden was...he never did go through it.
Everyone loved the giant duck
