Healing up.

Hayden’s teammates and friends made her day with this sweet card. She returns to school tomorrow, not soon enough she’s already bored and missing sports LOL.

Surgery day.

Surgery morning, sorry Hayden no Dutch Brothers for you LOL. 

Dutch Dude: What are you doing this morning? 

Hayden: Getting knee surgery. 

Dutch Dude: Oh my gosh that’s major are you worried? 

Hayden: No, I got this.

This kid was cracking everyone up once she got her pre meds LOL. We loved her RN.

Surgery went well. ACL was fine! Surgeon said Hayden has a larger than typical meniscus, and it was torn. He trimmed it back, but still left some that he hopes will help her get back on her feet quicker and may lessen her risk of arthritis later. He thinks she should be able to resume sports in 3 weeks.

Waking up was rough.

Pepe is taking good care of Hayden.

 

Game time.

Jericho and Pepe are ready for some Seahawks football tonight LOL. Pepe may or may not be crapping in my shoe later for this HAHAHA! 

Volleyball is on! First volleyball game for Hayden, possibly her last too. She has her knee surgery tomorrow morning. She was so sad, even though they won all 3 sets. Fingers crossed her recovery time is not the rest of volleyball.

Football.

The boys kicked butt today, 34 to 6. Jericho got a tackle, and scooped up an onside kick. Way to go 28! 

Fun in and out of the saddle.

Cinder worked hard for me today. Such a great day with good friends and fun cows. 

Adult fun tonight...we don't do enough of that.

Happy birthday Derek, thanks for inviting us to your bash. Many smiles, a few drinks, and lots of old stories.

Wet blankets.

Little red mare and I had fun playing with the cows today. Cinder even worked up a little sweat. She is such a better horse when she is working, has a job, and is getting that wet blanket time.

 Hayden and Cinder...they make a good pair. Hayden is almost ready to start adding rope work into her cow and dummy chasing.

Saving Alice.

We saved Alice...in 2 hours, not counting penalties LOL. It was fun, kind of a mix of an escape room and geocaching (which we have never done). Found some funny things in Portland that I had not seen before. There were so many people doing their own hunts, lots of great costumes.
