The puppies have seen cats plenty, but today they got to get up close and personal. I can not stress enough the importance of using a CHILL dog savvy cat for puppy introductions. The cat needs to calmly interact with the pups as to not entice them to chase and awaken their prey drive where cats are concerned. Does this always mean the pup will be cat friendly, no...but it does help so that with training most can be. My old man OJ used to be our puppy trainer...he was the most chill cat I have ever met. We lost him last year at 15 or 16 years old. Willow is pretty good with the dogs, but when we got Waffles back (one of Willows kittens...yes he is the same ginger kitten from the pics with the 'B' litter ) it seemed we had another chill ginger in our family. He reminds us so much of OJ...just in a medium length coat He is young...only 10 months old, but already 11 lbs and quite calm.
The pups did great meeting him.
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...LOL.
No one was harmed.
Gorgeous pups...Lycan and Kitsune never disappoint.
Baby kitty Waffles...look at how tiny he was with the 'B' pups.
