This one hit me.
The most scared I have ever been in my life as a parent was when Lily came down with the D68 Enterovirus a few years ago. She could not get her oxygen sats over 83% WITH multiple nebulizer treatments, a steroid shot and with oxygen cannula/mask going. We felt super lucky when she only had to be in the PICU for 2 nights. Being an asthmatic, if she gets COVID 19 it could be very bad for her. She thanks those of you doing what you are supposed to right now, and so do I. We are staying home for your high risk loved ones too.
