Getting bigger.

Our first hand feeding session. The biggest is 2 weeks old today. I may have to pull them and hand feed from here. Looks like mom and dad are pulling out their pin feathers. Lots of things can cause parents to pluck stress, jealousy, wanting to hurry these babies up so they can have more, among other possible reasons. It’s not too bad yet. I’ve been advised to add a bunch more toys and food to explore to try and make them busy elsewhere and see if they will stop. Fingers crossed that works.

Little itty bitty is hanging in there. I am going out every 2 hours around the clock to hold her mom so she can eat. Right now her mom acts like she has written her off. She is not aggressive towards her, but is offering zero special attention to make sure baby is eating. I'm tired. Feels like we have had too many tiny babies that need a little extra help this year. Not what I am used to, hope it is just a fluke.

Miss Holly, she doesn't understand why the goats hate her LOL.
