Reinforcements have arrived!

Yay our ThumbBusters arrived! Lily has been doing well with the sock on her hand for the last 3 nights...but I think these will be better for her. My Bug has always been a sweaty thing...no idea why, the Pedi doesn't seem too worried about it, but having a sock on her hand all night does bother her. She has done great the last few nights, hopefully the thumb sucking is behind her!
Thumbs up for comfort! These things are really cool. Lily only has this issue at night, but I could totally see these working for someone who needs help throughout the day. Give them a try! http://www.thumbusters.com/

Auntie Stacie got the triplets each a magazine subscription for Christmas. Their first issues have arrived, the trio were so excited to be getting their very own mail.

We read, did the find hidden items pages and looked at the pictures off and on all day today. They really enjoyed them.
It really put the kids on a reading and learning kick today. Xander brought out some other books and plopped them down by me saying "If you want to know about dogs...here is a book for that, if you want to know about trains...here is a book for that, if you want to know about roller skates...here is a book for that" LOL. Hayden even said "Auntie Stacie is so smart, she got me a great book!" Way to go Auntie :)

We also made some healthy...and really yummy, cookies too.
These ones are a concoction of banana apple oatmeal and chocolate chips.
2 cookies will only cost you 98 calories and 3 grams of fat.

3 medium bananas, mashed
2 cups of quick oats
2 small apples...I peeled them and tossed them in the Magic Bullet to kinda make applesauce, but left some chunks.
2 tsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Mix everything together, place tablespoon size balls of dough on sprayed baking sheet.
Cook at 350 for about 10-12 minutes. Makes around 30 cookies.
They were really good...it was hard to stop at two 4 LOL!
