Loving their new and improved yard!

Today didn't start off the best, but it ended pretty darn great. The trio had soccer class and it was the worst so far. Jason and I have come to the conclusion that they just aren't ready for it yet, but we already paid so they have to go. Hopefully some days will go better than others. Today we ended up leaving about 15 min into class. They were AWFUL.

We got home and headed out back to finish up. We got so busy working and playing out there, before we knew it both lunch and nap time passed us by. We decided to do a little snack then an early dinner. Xander was passing out at the table...poor guy. Then he got his second wind and ended up getting a crazy hair and went a little nuts until bed time. The trio went to bed an hour early, Hayden was out before Jason finished reading The Cat In The Hat.

We have our first flower!!! When we planted all this stuff I wasn't sure any would grow, I was so happy to see this.

Jason and the trio's Grandpa got the swings up right away, the kids were eager to try it out right away.


Xander is already trying to climb the fence. The dogs are a little sad on their own side over there, but once they learn there will be no pooing on the kids side they will be allowed over to play. I think we left them too much room, but the work is done and the kids side is big enough so we will leave it for now.

Swing set done. It's cute...not too big or fancy but for a hundred bucks I think it will serve the kids well :)

More lawn mowing today, Xander really wants to do it...I think this will be his chore when he is a bit older LOL.


We are already getting so much use out of the yard...we all love it!
