We are still getting lots of snow...and have pretty much been stuck inside for a couple days. Good thing the Olympics are on...and the kids are taking notice, and seem to enjoy watching.
Hayden fancies herself a future figure skater....tongue out and everything LOL.
I hope the end of the snow is near, I am so ready for spring to get here. Why can't the snow show up in December when everyone wants a white Christmas...then be gone now when I am ready for spring. Oh yeah, that is because spring doesn't usually show up in Oregon until like late May LOL.
It got pretty thick out there.
It was a perfect day to make some warm oatmeal banana nut "Skinny" cookies. Mmmm!
I love these minimal skinny cookies, so easy...and so many different concoctions you can make up.
This time I used:
2 banana's, mashed
1 1/2 cups quick oats
3/4 cup of pecan pieces
1 tsp vanilla
2 tablespoons of chocolate chips
Preheat over to 350, prepare a nonstick baking sheet.
Mix everything together. Place table spoon sized balls of dough on cookie sheet.
Bake 10-11 minutes or until bottoms start to turn golden brown.
2 cookies is about 97 calories and 4 grams of fat.
