That bunny can't come in.

We had a full day of fun today...tons of pictures to share!
We met up with our friends Nick and Lisa and their cutie Kenzie, to join a little Easter egg hunt at a giant tulip farm. We had such a great time, the triplets were told about today's plans last night...boy were they eager to go to bed so they could get up and "hunt the eggs". Lily was up bright and early, and all she could talk about was Easter eggs and chocolate :)

Sweet girls <3
Jericho is ready to go, basket in hand!
And they're off! The kids were grouped by age. Jason went with the trio and I stayed with Jericho. He did not have much luck...his one and only egg LOL.
Xander did much better.
So proud of their spoils.

Not many of the tulips were blooming yet, but there were some...enough for smelling for sure :)

Trying to get everyone together in one pic.
Family picture too :)

They had so much fun stuff going on besides the flowers and the egg hunt. They had a great little play area with a tire swing and play house.
My three tulips :)

While the big kids played, the little one tried adding to his basket LOL.

My kids thought the little play house and area was fun. Then we hit this part of the tulip farm!

Ducky races...they were water pumping pros by the time we dragged them away to do something else.
Of course we had to hit up the little sandbox for a bit.

The monkey, he wanted to climb everything.

Haystack jungle gym!

When you have triplets, not to mention a 4th tossed in for good measure, you become hyper aware of where your kids are. We thought we were pros at this...well Xander had to test us a couple times. Now I know when someone says "I only had my head turned for a second" yeah, totally true. He would dash off and be at the other end of the place in seconds. We were over playing on the haystack when all of a sudden Jason looks over at this huge slide and saw Xander up at the top ready to go down. Hayden waited for us to go over, and she was a little slow...you can see she is holding up the line a bit, but she went down it too! Lily and Jericho passed this time :)

The name of the farm is WoodenShoe, so they had giant "carts" made to look like shoes...the kids loved them.

Jericho, nice try buddy LOL.

Another stop at the sand box.

Cute lil tulips, Jericho and Kenzie :)

We did a little cow ride, everyone loved it...even Jericho was laughing and woooing the whole way.
Funny, LilyBug got the Lilly cow.

Woohoo here we go!!!

Coming back, thumbs up from the kids!

After we left the farm it was lunch time. We stopped at Red Robin, the triplets were a-ma-zing. I love it when you are out with company and your kids act like near perfect Angels! It was such a beautiful day, it has been raining for ever, I just didn't want to go home. So we hit up a park and kept the good times rolling!

I have never seen a swing like this...everyone had to have a turn :)

After we played for an hour and a half we took a 30 min walk. Our silly trio are walking backwards LOL.

They were so ready for bed tonight. Though we did have to avert a small disaster right as we were putting them to bed. Jason and I were telling the kids that the Easter Bunny was going to come and hide eggs and bring them baskets. Haddie starts asking just who this bunny is. We tried to explain but she was not at all going for it...she was looking a little scared and said that she didn't want the bunny to come in our house. She was totally serious, we had to make a deal that he would hide the eggs and leave the baskets out side only. She felt better and passed out, the Easter bunny was not happy...and my cute idea from Pinterest to but little bunny prints all over the house for the kids to see were dashed. Oh well maybe next year LOL.

Paint and a smile!

Jason was working a double today, grrr I didn't get to sleep in LOL. I woke up to the sound of the triplets in the livingroom, I guess they were too excited to play more with the new toys Grandma brought over yesterday. I head out there and Haddie proudly comes up to tell me how she got their door unlocked and let her, her brother and sister out. At least they had stuff to keep them occupied so they stayed out of trouble.

After breakfast we did a couple little painting crafts, and the kids enjoyed doing their first watercolor coloring books. The books were a hit, even though staying in the lines and picking the "right" colors for things are still not concepts they get.

Lily did her hand and foot prints first for our 1st craft, so she got started on her watercoloring while Hayden, Xander and Jericho got their prints taken. Of course Haddie had to do hers herself.

Then everyone got to do some watercolor pictures, Mom even helped a little.

Then the girls made some thumbprint flowers, another Pinterest gem, they turned out so cute.

Our finished products!

These were supposed to be the Earth made out of a hand and a foot print...I don't know that they came out quite right.

Later the girls were being so sweet to Jericho, I had to take some pics of how happy they were making him. He jumped in this wagon and the girls pulled him around while he laughed and screamed. It was the cutest thing ever! This little wagon has provided years of fun.

Such a ham :)

Sorry Hayden, that is one thing I can't give you.

I have had it with Jericho's climbing, you will notice the kitchen and other step stools are missing. So naturally this means there would be more fighting over the zillion toys that were left to play with. You can't win, can you?!
It starts out so nice, with all 4 playing together.

Soon there is toy stealing, and Lily does all she can to take down the culprit.

From fighting to running around cheering for Xander's car winning...against Xander's other car LOL.

Then Grandma shows up with a giant bag of goodies for the kids!

Oh there will be fighting over this guitar, I can tell already.

The doll house was a big hit too.

Rock star Xander...dig the glasses, eat your heart out Elton :)
How does my 3 1/2 year old look like such a big kid?

Now on to Hayden's funny of the day. I was wondering if penis envy would start in our house, and it has. Hayden was telling me how her Daddy stands up to pee and she wants to too. I had to break the news to her that Daddy has a penis and stands up, but girls have a vagina and sit down. So Hayden tells me she wants a penis, I told her that I was sorry but she can't have one...she says but I really want a penis Bwahaha.

I have no good April Fools jokes to pull today.

Lily pulled one on me though. She was sent to her room for a time out this morning, I went in a few min later. No, she did not trash the room in a tantrum...they do this every morning playing with each other before we come get them.
So I walk in the room and she is not it her bed. I call out where is my Lily, and I hear a little giggle. Then I notice the blankets under the bed, so I start asking where is Lily, is she under the bed...no answer just more quick giggles. I start to walk to her bed to get her out from under there when the stacked up basket moves. I had no idea she was in there, she laughed huge and said "look Momma you can see me in the window." I had to take a pic, so I told her not to move and ran for my camera...it was just too cute.
Lily looking out the window LOL.

We did some word and number puzzles today. I have not been playing teacher nearly as much as I should be, but I was impressed that the kids recognize some of their letters!

I love big happy smiles. Lily Bug you are so cute <3

Jericho found a new fun way to play with an old toy Hahaha.

Some video, the penguin waddle and a dash for the bed time diaper change :) Look out, flying 15 month old LOL. They are like 20 or 30 seconds each.
