Oregon Museum of Science and Industry...AKA OMSI!

We had a fun day planned for the munchkins, it is probably the last one for a bit...going to be hitting the house remodel hard over the next week or two.

Breakfast...Mmm special cream cheese monkey bread!

2/3 cup dark brown sugar
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Two 12-ounce tubes refrigerated flaky buttermilk biscuits
One 8-ounce package cream cheese, cut into 20 cubes
¾ cup butter, melted

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 12-cup bundt pan with cooking spray; set aside. In
a medium bowl, combine the sugars and cinnamon; set aside.
2. Slice 10 discs of dough from each tube of biscuits. Set discs on a flat surface and set one
cube of cream cheese in the center of each piece of dough. Wrap edges of dough up and
around the cheese so all that is visible is the top side of cream cheese cube. Place 10
dough-wrapped cheese cubes, cheese-side-up, in bottom of prepared pan. Top with half of
the sugar mixture and half of the butter. Top with the remaining dough-wrapped cheese
cubes, cheese-side-down, the remaining sugar and remaining butter.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Invert onto a serving platter and serve.

Yummy!

Then we met up with our "Irish triplet" friends at OMSI. We were only there for 3 hours, but it felt like twice as long LOL. We had 8 kids under 7, and 2 preteens with us...they were super awesome and kept tabs on Jericho for us.

My little 4 1/2 year olds lovin' learning.

Everyone loved the critter lab. Snakes, lizards, frogs, fish and rats. They had a nest in one cage, I guess a couple of their lizards got frisky. Haddie looked at the eggs and said, "I don't see any babies hatching...I think they need a Momma." The guy next to us got as big a kick out of it as I did LOL.

Xander put on a little puppet show.

I love this place, so much to explore.

My lover of all pretty rocks...she wanted to take most of these home. I just told her they have to stay to share with everyone, then she told me "Yeah Momma we should share." So sweet :)

Ah before the computer changed our lives Hehehe.

Lots of time spent in the craft room today.

Lily Bug, you are so cute.

She cleans up more when we are out than she does at our own home.

Most of the 3 hours all 8 kids were never in the same place LOL. Here we have 5 of them playing in the sand.

Lily didn't want to play in the sand...she was having too much fun using the pulley to bring stuff up to her in baskets.

Then of course when all the others got out of the sand, Lily wanted to go in.

We did a lot of building, Xander had a great time.

Then some of his blocks fell...he just needs to slap both hands to his face and he almost looks like the Home Alone kid Hahaha.

Haddie and I had a lot of fun making a castle with these magnetic shapes, pretty cool.

It is so nice when Dad takes over the camera for a while, then I get to PLAY too Hehehe.

I need to check on Pinterst on how to make a cheap light table...the trio really loved this one.

Jericho was all over the place. Poor Alexia, she was given a run for her money. He really loves her though :)

More fun on our way out. Everyone was starving...but no meltdowns on our way home this time! Thanks for going with us Dina and kids, must do it again soon.
