New bunk beds and new ink!

We put our favorite carpenter to work again, we asked him to make the girls a set if bunk beds. He has done a lot of nice work for us, laying our tile in the kitchen and bathroom, the laundry room too. He helped us finish turning the converted garage into an actual bedroom. He also did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel! The bunk bed project turned out just as amazing! Thanks Larry...what's next??? LOL.

We got new bed sets for the girls, Princess for Lily Bug and Hello Kitty for Miss Hayden. We actually just set them out on the counter and let the girls find them. It seems if we try to give them things one or the other, or both, will bitch if they don't have the same thing as her sister. So we wanted to see if they would have the same objections if they found them for themselves. Seems to have worked this time, they were both happy with what they got.
It took two vehicles to get the bunk beds over to the house. Maybe making them full's instead of twin's was not the best idea.

Lots of built in storage!

Yup, if you have to take a window out so you can get a set of bunk beds in...they are probably too big. Making them fulls was my idea...I am not often wrong, so of course Jason had to call me on it. I told him that I can't let him be the only one wrong all the time LOL.
Xander wanted right in on all the goings on, he popped up next to Jason and said "Daddy what are you doing with my window?"

In through the window...the room is looking full already HA.

The dresser and the stairs, whoa these are not just big but super tall too.
These things are heavy, he used Poplar wood
This is about when we decided we wanted it on the other wall instead LOL.

OK, that is better. 3 of the 4 pieces in the set are fitted together, the bottom bed is on rollers and can be pulled out if need be.
Gotta get a new light and get the ceiling fan out of there. Jericho has no fear, of course, I am trying to keep him out of their room...but I am sure that isn't going to fly for long.
Lily has claimed the top bunk, Hayden was happy to get the bottom...she was scared just being on the top of the stairs Hehehe.
Xander is pretty upset that he doesn't have a new bed. The "boy's room" is not ready yet, so he is sleeping on his mattress on the floor at the foot of Haydens bed for a little while. Though the beds are big enough for 2 or even all 3 of them to sleep in one. One thing is for sure, the boys bunk beds will be twins LOL.
6 big drawers on one side.
Lily loves the steps.

The steps are all drawers too.

The girls love their new bed sets...even if they are a little wrinkly from the wash.

Even though she started freaking out a little missing her old bed, Hayden ended up passing out for a nice long nap. She looks so small in that big bed.

Later we had our friend, and favorite tattoo artist over for a little BBQ and playdate with her youngest...OK and a little tattoo time :)

The boys playing crash!

Jason got a little work done on his dragon.

He loved the dogs :)

Jericho got himself stuck in the wagon Hahaha!
I got a new little tattoo. I love it! The sun and moons are the Celtic Moon Goddess Symbol, the triple swirl is a Celtic symbol for mother and her many aspects, the triple spiral represents the various phases of womanhood, the passing of time, and the unity of these diverse dimensions. This symbol also represents the three phases of woman-ness: Mother in her compassion and nurturing state, Maiden in her innocence and pure state and Crone in her wise and experienced state.

I wish I were good enough friends with my tattoo artist to do that!!!

Love the bunk beds. Awesome idea. They look great!
