Kids and baby bunnies, it doesn't get cuter!

We got our Easter pics back today...love them, Amanda you did a great job as usual!
The baby bunnies were adorable, I always want to take one home. Jericho and Xander were in love, and wanted to hold them every second.. Hayden was OK with them as long as they didn't scratch her. Lily remembered the bunny last year peeing on her and refused to get near one LOL.
Jericho loved putting the babies in this basket, then he would dump them out, chase them down and do it all over again. Thank goodness baby bunnies are both quick and hardy.

The girls...so sweet :)

I can't believe how much the triplets have grown since their first baby bunny photo shoot at just 9 months old, they just don't look like 4 1/2 year olds to me.

This bunny was a Rex, and so very soft.
Xan man, you are so handsome...even if you need a haircut LOL.

He was giving us some silly smiles this time.

Check out my grown up Miss Haddie...we did not ask her to pose that way, oh my.
Lily Bug, she was all about the fake bunnies, but she did allow the real baby to sit in a basket next to her LOL.

Jericho was very busy on bunny round up, so it was hard to get pics of him this time. You should have seen him running after them holding his basket like hey get back in here. He was cracking us up so bad, the trio started to laugh like little nuts too.

He was pretty gentle most of the time, he was grabbing this one to put back in his basket...awww.

My handsome boys.

Bunny dump in 3, 2, 1....
Had to add a couple outtakes. Jericho about to go on another bunny round up.

Ahhh get back that bunny is about to "Quellishhhhh" Leonard pt 6 anyone? LOL
Hayden and her tongue, if you looked at their 9 month pics she was like this in every pic :)

If you want to check out some previous years bunny pics here ya go.

Everyone was right, this stain is amazing!

Got to the new house today and the tree in our front yard all of a sudden has flowers. It is so beautiful, anyone know what kind of tree it is?

This is what my sweet children do when playing in the back yard for an hour or so. They pick lovely gifts for their Momma and Dad :) At this rate there will be no "flowers" left when we move in LOL.
OK on to business. Like I mentioned before I don't think I have ever stained anything...but I have heard enough tales to be scared Hehehe. Thank goodness for Pinterest and DIY'ers that share what they have learned with us newbies. This stuff rocks, like ROCKS! It is oil based, so kinda stinks, but it is not runny and hard to control. It is the consistency of pudding, and goes on super easy. We wore plastic...Doctor-ish...gloves then put a mans sock over top of that. A little goes a long way, you don't want to put it on too thick. Get some on the sock then rub it evenly with the grain until it is worked in. We are going to wait 24 hours then put on a second coat. Depending on how it looks after that we will either do a third coat or go ahead with a coat or two of poly finish on top.

First swipe.
Still wet, but dang it looks 100 times better already!

Looking good Jericho :)

First coat done...hope it looks as good dry as it does wet LOL. I can not believe how easy it was, though I am sure the doors and drawers are going to be a little more sucky. We also got quite a bit in places it wasn't supposed to go, some touch up paint will be needed when it is all done.

Today wasn't all fun though. Jericho had been feeling better today, I thought he was over what ever hit him a few days ago. Then as soon as we got home he threw up in the car. I got him out and took him inside, setting my keys on the counter...are you seeing where this is going...I took off his clothes and wiped him down. Then I grabbed a bunch of clorox wipes and went out to clean the carseat. The trio were still in the car and Jason was on his way home with dinner. When I got the seat clean I went to take my stuff inside....imagine my surprise when I found the door locked. Normally that wouldn't have been too big of a deal, Jason was on his way and in fact got there within 5 min. The problem was that Jericho not only locked the front door but the security "screen" door too. Which was keyed to our front door key when we bought it but for some reason the key no longer works on the lock. Raised in a security minded 'Police' home all the doors and windows were of course locked as well. I tried and tried to get Jericho to open the door, but while he is more than strong enough to slam it and lock it he is not strong enough to pull it open...he tried, then he got bored and took off his diaper, great. Jason tried a few different ways to get in, then ended up breaking his way in...nothing too hard to fix thankfully. Ugh I'm tired LOL.

Radio silence.

I have gotten a little behind. Lots of funny little stories to share, and some remodel updates.

House updates....the sanding on the cabinet bases is done, haven't even touched the doors and drawers yet LOL. The granite is finally in...covered in dust but it is beautiful!

We met up with Uncle Skunk, Auntie Amber and Cousin Hailee for a quick Lowe's shopping trip. Yeah quick, never spent $550 so fast and on nothing I really wanted LOL.

The kiddos had fun hanging out, they raised a little ruckus...but not too bad :)
Little Man has not been feeling too hot the last couple of days. He was happy to sit in the cart while the four 4 year olds ran around having fun...yup he is for sure not feeling well :(

Now some of the funny kid stories that have been piling up over the last couple of days...
As I said Jericho hasn't been feeling too hot, he threw up the other day and it turns out 2/3 of the triplets know how to respond in an "emergency." One minute he was fine, the next he ralphed all over the place twice...then back to being fine. Without me saying anything Hayden ran to the kitchen for a towel, Xander ran to the bathroom and came back with a wad of TP. Lily, well Lily looked over from her fave show for a moment then went back to watching The Littlest Pet Shop. Don't worry Lily we got it LOL.

Another one involving Jericho. Xander knows better than to go into our "storage" room, yet he can not help himself sometimes. Today he got in there, with little brother hot on his heels of course. I was busy in another room when Hayden came to tell me the boys were getting into trouble...."and down stairs came the informer"...a little Cosby for ya :) They must have heard her tattling, next thing I know I hear a door thrown open 4 feet flying into their bedroom and a door slamming behind them. I had to go running after them, I was worried about what contraband they may have found. I get in their room and see Xander hiding under a blanket, and a pair of short legs sticking out from under the bed. I frisked Xan and he was clean. So I grab hold of the pair of legs sticking out from under the bed and pulled out Jericho...who had a death grip on a roll of summer sausage that was in a gift box that they got into. The sausage was still sealed, but I could see him trying to take bites out of it LOL. He was not happy when I repoed his ill-gotten gains.

Now a funny one from Hayden. I got ketchup on my pants and the convo went like this.
Hayden: Mom you got ketchup all over your friggin' pants. I turned to the wall and laughed silently until I was crying.
Jason *trying very very hard not to laugh*: Hayden we don't say "friggin'."
Hayden: You two say it all the friggin' time. Jason: Well it is not something you should say anymore. LOL.

OK last one I promise. Hayden made me laugh last night, Jericho was bugging her laying all over her and refusing to get up. She yells at me that her "bones are going to fall out if he doesn't leave me alone."

That is it, more tomorrow...hang on to your pants, and bones :)

A couple snags on the house remodel.

We spent all day over at the new house today. Thankfully it wasn't raining, so between playing out back and watching a couple movies on the portable DVD player, the kids were kept occupied most of the 7 hours.
We didn't get everything done that we were hoping too, turns out the granite was not cut short enough so we were not able to install it today, hopefully tomorrow. We did get the bathroom sinks/cabinets in and I got another coat of paint on all the trim...still needs at least one more. We did a little more sanding too, did I mention this is going to take forever? LOL.

Getting the counters ready for the granite.
Jason making sure the plywood is nice and flat LOL.

Movie time! Jericho was a button pushing and plug pulling pest much of the time...2 year olds LOL.

Jason hard at work....the kiddos kept yelling at him to be quiet and turn the machine off so they could hear the movie :)
Bringing in the granite...about to find out it is too long. I am pretty upset with the ganite people. This is the second time we have used them, last time everything was perfect...this time everything has been cut wrong :(

Well it will look pretty eventually.
Fort building fun...yay for bathroom cabinet boxes, these kept them busy for a good hour +.

Hahahaha boys working in the bathroom.
Neither one has a plumbers license, hence the underwear/diaper and no full on crack LOL.
Both bathrooms are just about done!
Did a little clean up and headed home...what a long day.

Baby bunnies, granite and crock pot yums!

I got to sleep in this morning...thanks hubby!
Pretty chill day for the most part, another great weather day...so the kids got to play outside a lot. The bed times on all these days we spend hours and hours outside burning off energry have been so so so nice! Summer feels so close, yet I know it is probably just a big tease LOL.
We have done homework every night since I started this trend. Tonight the kids played out back so long they didn't have time to do both homework and watch their usual before bed show. I gave them the choice...they picked homework, what?! Hahaha!
Made one of my fave crockpot dinners...rec here ---> Cheese Tortellini...dang it is so good!
Jason picked up half of the granite for the new house. It will be going in tomorrow, the other half on Monday. Long day of work planned for tomorrow...I am tired just thinking about it LOL.
Photos usually don't do granite justice, it is so much prettier in person.
Then we had fun over at our photog extraordinaires studio doing our annual bunny pics. I can't wait to get the pics back. The kids were so cute, the bunnies adorable...how can you go wrong?!
Bug was so happy to finally wear her lady bug dress!

Jericho got reacquainted with an old friend. Their last meeting was a couple years ago at Jericho's newborn photo shoot. He has grown eh?!
