Volleyball regionals.

Hayden’s volleyball team has struggled this season. This is Hayden’s first time on a club team, and some coaching decisions were questionable all year. The girls some how got into regionals this weekend with only 1 win all season. Their coaches quit last week as some parents vented frustrations on them. The girls wanted to play anyway and were lucky enough to have a new coach step in and take them on for regionals weekend. They went undefeated in day 1's three games. They were bumped up to the Gold Bracket for day two. Unfortunately, they lost their two games in day 2 at the tie breaker. They played amazing this weekend…this is the team that I have been waiting to watch all season. I think they ended up in 8th place in the Gold bracket in the end. Not bad for their first regional appearance. Hayden had a blast. She is not sure yet if she will play next season, her team will be doing a big restructuring as some move up in age group, but she always says that at the end of a season LOL.

Hello spring!!

Lily’s crazy hair day choice for school today...Lydia vibes.
Eda got to meet Elvis the Great Dane today. They are both 35 lbs, she is 6 months he is 3 months LOL.

Beautiful, dry, warm weather finally. Cinder is already being eaten alive by flies. Fly sheet it is.

This Trillium pops up every year. Apparently the plant can live up to 25 years.

Track and Field superstar.

This is more like it, a beautiful day for track! Just when it is almost over.
Xander raced his best yet today and came in 4th out of 8 or 9 I think.

Hayden won't be able to do track in High School since it runs the same time as softball, but she had a blast this season. From never doing any of these throws before to getting a spot at invitationals in all 3 throwing events. Her personal record in Shot Put ended up being 27 feet 2 inches with an 8lb ball...putting her at 17th in the state. In Discus her PR was 60 feet 3 inches with a 2lb discus. Javelin her PR was 89 feet 3 inches....which put her at 17th in the state!

Suns out, project time for Jason at home. The burned down property next door seems to have sold, not excited about neighbors but I will love that eyesore finally being cleaned up. We are enclosing a big fenced yard area for the dogs so they won't bother the new neighbors when we let them out to potty. Jason bought 600 feet of fencing and hopes he got enough to complete it.

Big throw!

Egon enjoying another day at the ballpark.

Xander being silly in the back up cam.

Hayden finally got a good throw, and new PR, on javelin. A smidge over 89 feet!

Yummy.

Another volleyball tournament weekend. Hayden knows how to stock a hotel room LOL. Hayden got a lovely bruise right through her knee pad. The boys have been busy at home while Hayden and I were chilling at the hotel.

PNW Track and Field.

Track and Field Star.

More watching those shady shopping carts today for Edalyn. I have no idea what a shopping cart ever did to her but she is highly suspicious LOL.

Hayden joined track and field for the first time this year. Cuz you know she is not busy enough with basketball, softball and volleyball. They had their first meet, Hayden participated in 3 events. Discus, Shot Put and Javelin. Two 1st places and one 2nd. Not too shabby.

Welcome back softball.

Opening day for Hayden and Jericho’s softball and baseball teams. We brought Egon along, there were hundres of people and kids. Egon is a great pup with crowds of people, he enjoys meeting everyone. Both kiddos won their games!
