Secret BFF handshake.

We took a two hour drive to let Lily go to her BFF's birthday party. Kalaya and Lily were so happy to see each other again. It is so sad we live so far from each other...they would love to see each other more than 3 or 4 times a year. The girls made the most of their time together today though!

Their secret best friend handshake...so cute!

The other kiddos had fun at the party too...so did Kitsune.

Princess processions.

Kitsune was such a good girl today. All the kids, balloons, bikes, toys, screaming and playing....she took it all in stride. She even became center of attention towards the end when the kids figured out what a great toy retriever she is LOL.

Jericho and Kitsune, they are best buds...

For all her crazy Dutchie-ness, she sure is a great family dog! I love this breed so much.
Bank stop. Hayden got her own savings account today. She was so excited. She says she is saving up for an Easy Bake Oven, the girls have wanted one for two years now LOL.
Funny Xander story today...
We stopped at Taco Bell to order a small late dinner. Jason orders chips and cheese, 1 for the boys to share and 1 for the girls to share.
Xander says "What we have share, rubbish!"
The car erupted in laughter....and 2 more chips and cheese dishes were ordered LOL.

This is one lucky bird. Fire season is pretty much over, we haven't even looked at the wood stove in weeks. I don't know what caught my eye and made me double take but this little guy is lucky I did. I think it is a Swift.

I thought he was going to be hard to grab, but he just stood there and let me pick him up. The kids really wanted to keep him, but thanks to watching the Wild Kratts a bazillion times I convinced them he wasn't meant to be a pet.

Hayden begged to hold him. After a minute or two she let him go. He flew off and is now living free and in the wild LOL.

A new Mom...and it is almost Mother's Day.

Grandma hung out at the farm today, she even jumped up on Scooter for a little ride. Of course we couldn't keep Hayden from joining her if we tried LOL.

We had a little early Mother's Day treat!

Grandma brought a little something for each of the kids today, Hayden got this rocking pink cowgirl hat that she loves!

Lily has decided she is tired of brushing her hair, so instead she went with an adorable short hair cut!
The start of our first garden...hopefully they make it long enough to plant...the chickens have already found them. We are starting off small, 10 strawberry plants...which Jericho has also already found grrr. 6 spinach starts, 1 garden sweet cucumber, 2 beef steak tomato starts, 1 jalapeno, 1 bell pepper and 1 bush zucchini. Wish us, and these poor plants, lots of luck LOL.
I couldn't wait for the kids to get home today, on morning check I found out we have 8 brand new baby Rex bunnies! Our blue girl, Dark Sparkle, and Dr. Colosso are proud new parents. Now to keep our fingers crossed that their 1st time momma doesn't eat them or decide to not feed them.

2 white babies.

3 broken blue's...I think.

3 that look to be lilac's, 1 broken....the little bitty one seems to be the runt, runts don't usually fare well sadly.

Everyone got to hold a kit for a minute or two. They are so wriggly.
Hayden loves the babies...and the new hat Grandma gave her.

More progress in the kitchen.

My new Favorite mug :)
Since Taboos second baby left a few days ago she has had no milk relief. When we went out for everyone's dinner rounds Hayden came running saying "Mom come quick Taboo has a huge bump by her butt" .... I got to explain that that is her milk bag and it is extra full because Dolly and Uno aren't here drinking it. We tried to milk her...she only held still for a little bit, but we got enough to let all the kids take a sip (after it was filtered and chilled). The kids seem to be fans, Hayden especially...but I think that is because she helped milk LOL.

And then there were 4.

Dolly went to her new home today. She was never as sweet and friendly as the other babies, so the kids didn't have a strong bond with her, and there were no tears this time.
Good luck little goat girl!

I'm super happy with the two babies we kept, they are sweet adorable girls. I already can't wait for next years babies!

Some cell phone pics from my sisters trip that I forgot to share.

I was so sad the day they flew home...Kitsune actually snuggled to make me feel better. I love this crazy dog.

One day Lily put on a puppet show for everyone, it was hilarious...but perhaps my favorite part was that she put out a tip jar LOL.
Everyone played along happily.

My littlest niece Lydia...such a cutie!
Smooch!

On the drive back from our beach day...everyone passed out. Hayden and Hailee sleep the same LOL.
Lily....the hat, so funny!
