Play ball...any ball.

Softball pics for Hayden. The trio no longer HAVE to do a sport once per year. Hayden participates in enough sports for all three of them. Lily channeled her free time and energy into theatre. Xander is still volunteering his time to help feed the homeless, he usually goes once per week.

The rest of his time is spent on video games LOL. Tonight Xander and Cheesy Poof having quality video game time together.

It's Showtime!

Today was the day Lily has been counting down to since Christmas. We hit up Seattle to see Beetlejuice. We stayed at The Paramount which was a 2 min walk from both the theatre and The Cheesecake Factory. Dinner and dessert were delicious. The Show was fantastic...absolutely hilarious. It was such a fun trip, love getting to spend some alone time with my Lily Bug.

Hoppy Easter.

When your kids are kinda too old for Easter baskets...but it is tradition LOL.

Cheesy Poof says Happy Easter.

Big day.

Edalyn is off to her new home. She will be living with her cousin Shrimpy…AKA Dyna. They brought her a car jacket matching her cousins to make her ride home calmer. Can’t wait for pics when you are all settled in!

Friends were made on the 3 hour drive home!
March Madness double header tonight with these two. Hayden is beyond excited!

Happy smile.

Someone got his braces off...he is so glad to be done.

Cheesy Poof is a clinic fave when I bring her with to work.

Hooping it up.

Cose losses to strong teams today. Lots of injuries for our girls. Ice packs, ibuprofen, and tape were in high demand. I think a lot was learned and I was so proud of their grit. I think we have a bright season ahead.

So many goodbyes.

Willow enjoying some kitten free time. The babies have started heading to their new homes!

Sometimes being a responsible breeder means having plans fall apart and having to do what’s right for the breed and the dog. Eda is a 16 month old 42 lb Dutch Shepherd we imported from a wonderful breeder in the Czech Republic. She is a very playful, sweet, and eager to please girl. She is crate trained and knows basic obedience commands. She is not a confident girl, more shy and slow to warm up. No aggressive tendencies just scared of new things. Not the proper temperament for this breed. She is not as driven and crazy as your typical Dutchie, but is not a couch potato by any means. Unfortunately, she is not a good breeding prospect so I need to find her a home that will fit her needs. I feel she will make a great pet for someone. I think she will thrive with more 1:1 time. Potentially will be good at non bite work sports. She has a heck of a nose and is crazy fast. As sad as it is many people would breed her anyway, so she got spayed at my work before finding a new home.

She did great!

Eda missed the “Dogs are supposed to be stoic” day of Doggy 101. First night she was freaking out, every few minutes she jumps and whines like something is biting her. So here I am sitting up with her since 3am when I gave up on sleep. Oh never mind her DIY cone of shame, totally forgot to get one when I picked her up from the clinic. Bath towel and duct tape to the rescue

Work and play.

A couple different patients today than our usual. Neat little red kangaroo girls.

Softball on a warm sunny day is the best...Hayden got hit with a pitch that took no time to leave a welt.

Sunshine my old friend.

The sun came out today...so needed this!

Do not let anyone tell you Dutchies don’t shed. This is 5 min brushing Kitsune and half of the fluff blew away LOL.
7 weeks old...one more week and they get to head to their new homes!

Cheese.

Cheesy Poof and her sister hung out at work today.

Eda ran around town today, she is looking for a new home for anyone in the PNW that would like a sweet yet shy Dutchie. She sadly just doesn't have the correct temperament for our program.
