A trip out for some fresh air.

Being sick and cooped up for the last week has sucked, so this morning we took the kids to the park for a little bit. It wasn't too warm of a day, for the first day of summer, but at least it didn't rain! The kiddos had a great time, but note to self....have the girls swing last, or else they won't want to do anything but swing the whole time LOL.

Xander, on the other hand was all over the place and fully enjoyed every bit of the park.

He loves to go down the slide by himself, he doesn't go down right but he does go slow, so at least he doesn't get hurt.
He was a wild man :)

When we did make the girls get off the swings they had cows. Hayden got over in in a few min. but Lily cried the rest of the time. We tried to get a pic of the three on a toy...Lily wanted none of it :)

We also made the final pick of our granite today, I can not wait for the kitchen to be done....have I said that before hehehe.

12 weeks...this is going fast!

I hit 12 weeks today, and we are all trying to get over this cold...other than that I have not been up to a whole heck of a lot. This pregnancy is starting to feel more real, I think the belly helps...now I just need some movement. I actually lost 2lbs this week (so I am only up 2 1/2lbs total so far) but the belly is still there hahaha.

Jason has gotten started on our little kitchen remodel, here is the before pictures. It should be done by 7/5 as long as there are no delays...yeah I won't hold my breath LOL.

My sick kids have not been feeling very photogenic these days but I did get a couple cute bath pics, and this one of Miss Hayden, have you ever see a prettier sick girl?!?! :)

Today was Jason's 2nd Father's Day and I totally tanked. The kids and I didn't get out of the house and get him anything....I feel so bad. I suck, I am sorry Babe, we'll make it up to you :)

One big update!

I have been really tired again this last week, and as lame as it sounds, even posting to my blog has been too much LOL, so this post has a lot thrown in.

Where to start...Saturday was Jason's 30th Birthday! We had Grandma and Pop Pop Randy come stay with the kids while we took a little weekend trip to Bend. Jason's sister Stacie and his Dad live there. Stacie is in a band, and they had a gig Saturday night that we were excited to see. So we got into town hung out for a while then went to see their show. They were really great, I was impressed! She did embarrass us a tad when she announced to the whole bar we were there and it was Jason's Bday :) Then she sang him a couple songs, it was really fun!

A couple pics of the band. Notice the Rockstar, water and Beer....which one do you think was mine. I hate going to bars when I can't drink Hahaha.

We got back home Sunday evening to hear of all the fun the kids had. Lily even busted out with "ready, set, go."

Pics of the trio just before we left...yes, Uncle Scott I know they are not in Nike gear...sorry :) They were being clingy and acting upset...like they knew we were leaving.

Xan's pouty face.

Hayden say cheese!

Aww Lily Bug didn't want her Daddy to go.

Speaking of new words and phrases, the girls can do some counting now, they are pretty good with 1,2,3,4...Lily can even do a few numbers between 5-10. They also started singing their ABC's...they don't do all the letters but the first 5 or so are pretty clear. Lily can say "I love you Momma" she also really enjoys saying "Hi baby" and "Hi my baby"

We are making some headway on the kitchen remodel, everything should be done the 4th of July weekend!!! Can't wait, Xander is not deterred by the baby gate anymore, I think the new set up will help keep him out of there again. We are trying to do dinners at the kitchen table, it's messy but fun.

Baby baking front...my belly is getting bigger faster than I expected. This is my 11 week pic, granted this was taken after dinner but OMG!!! I am still only 4-5lbs up so I don't think it's from over eating :) I still have not thrown up, a couple more weeks and I may be out of the woods!!! I did start having some braxton hicks contractions the last couple nights, didn't expect those to kick in so early either....a little scary but I think it's normal.

Run free, mess with stuff and defend yourselves.

We took the kids to OMSI today, Grandma came along so we each kept track of one kid and let them go wild. It was a lot of fun, they were all over the place and really enjoyed their morning. Hayden did get in a little scuffle though. She was taking these fake acorns out of a tree and putting them in a big bird nest. She went back to the tree to get some more and another little girl, about 3 years old, got upset that Hayden was taking the acorns so she slapped Hayden good. Hayden is not one to take that kind of abuse, she grabbed the girl and bit her. She did not break the skin thankfully, the other girls mom saw the whole thing, she came up to her daughter and said " you deserved it stop being a little brat the toys aren't yours." Jason gave Hayden the we don't bite talk but in the end all was well.
Some pics from OMSI

On the baby baking front...I hit 10 weeks today, woohoo 1/4 done! Still have not thrown up, I am starting to have a little hope that maybe it will pass me by this time. I have been taking my Zofran once a day and am still sleeping more than I should but other than that things are going well. I have my first appt. tomorrow with my MFM. He is the one who took care of me when I was pregnant with the trio, he also delivered them. I am so happy to be going back to him, he is a riot and a damn good Doc.
My 10 week pic...I have gained almost 4 lbs in the last 10 weeks, yikes!

Do The Potty Dance

We bought a seat today that is for little butts! I think over the next couple of days we are going to see what the girls think of it. I am so excited, I know they may not be ready and we will probably have to try it again another time but I am looking forward to giving it a try!

It was a beautiful day today, first time in over a month, too bad we had a lot of indoor projects slated for today. The kiddos did want to put on their shoes today and walk around while Mom and Dad did their work. We promised to get them out tomorrow for some fun :)

Let's go for a walk Dad.

It is STILL raining here, so we have not been getting out much at all. Today all three kids decided they wanted to go for a walk around the living room with their Dad, at the same time. I had to get some pics...it was too cute seeing 3 kids holding on to two hands.

Lily Bug having trouble with her hat.

We are thinking about getting a potty training seat for the girls, they are really alerting us and are waking up dry often. It is probably too early and we certainly won't push it but maybe letting them try it out will give us an idea if they are really ready to try or not. We are sure Xander is not there yet, but heck if we could get one or two out of diapers in the near future that would be awesome!
