Yucky weather gave us a short break today. I am so not ready for winter, summer was not long enough. We are trying to finish up projects when we get the chance...need more nice days.
Today was lovely, spent a little time with my goaty goats today. Kitsune and the girls have a love hate relationship LOL.
Silly head butting going on...the girls were feeling frisky, breeding season is getting really close.
Taboo...the boss lady.
Heidi and Lulu are such big girls...they will be bred this winter too! I can't wait to see what udders their genes blessed them with. Still hoping with maturity they may make nice little show does.
Lulu is such a little cutie.
Chunky Heidi, going to town on the hay...while Taboo and Yahtzee argue over it LOL.
We got some more work done on the horse run in. Then I got distracted by this little alien.
Siding! Getting close.
Tank is heading to his new home on Tuesday. He is such a good boy, I hope he has bright days ahead of him.
Boss Man is now spoken for too. He should be leaving next weekend!
Still have 3 meat piglets available.
Momma turkey and her 3 remaining poults. Getting big!
I was pleasantly surprised when I heard Jericho would be among the first kids awarded Student Of The Month this year. Totally unexpected LOL. Xander also was awarded Student Of The Month in his class. The girls were a little bummed, but they took it well. Woohoo great start to the year...keep it up boys!
Xander, we are so proud of you! You are the sweetest most wonderful kid...your Dad and I love you so much!
Jericho, you are wild and rambunctious...and completely wonderful. You make us smile and pull our hair out at the same time, that is talent kid. We adore you and are so glad school has gotten off on a great foot for you!
My three guys...love them!
My first PTA event that I signed up to participate in. It was fun...wish I would have brought Haddie along, she would have loved to paint too.
Not too shabby for my first canvas painting event, they were nice enough to pre draw the head LOL.
Kitsune and I have been hitting the training hard lately. Our IPO club is holding a trail this weekend, and after some back and forth I have decided to enter Kitsune for her BH...last minute of course because that's how I roll. Her breeder has been helping me get her ready, he is a wonderful trainer and is so kind to offer some assistance to us. I am no professional trainer, which is obvious especially in her lack of focus in our heeling, but she is coming along pretty well.
Saturday it is BH or BUST....fingers crossed pretty please!
Working on the long down...she has to stay put for around 7-8 minutes.
Look at that face...she's got this. I hope Hahaha!
After training I picked up the kiddos early from school so we could get out to Beaverton for Cousin Hailee's Bday party.
They played while waiting for the birthday girl to arrive.
Hayden...always got to be the strongest daredevil.
Lily's chosen hiding spot to surprise Hailee, yup you're good no way she will see you LOL.
Hailee was so excited to see her family and friends...she had no idea about the party :)
The hazel eyed pair, cuties!
When playground toys get boring, playing around an empty rock water fountain is all the rage.
Cupcake time!
Happy 8th Birthday Miss Hailee!
Gift time is exciting for everyone LOL.
Nice look for you Bug.
10 kids on a slide...good fun!
Love you guys!
Hope you had a great party Hailee...we love you!
Adult only get togethers really are the best LOL. Our friend Nick took the gang out on his families yacht for a little birthday thing. We had a blast. My first time on a boat of this calibur, what a thing of beauty! Even if I was scared for my life...not really a water person.
Started off with some yummy mimosa's.
Getting ready to set sail...hmmm do you say that if it is not a sail boat? This is the mid level captains area...kitchen, dining room and living room are also on this level. Plus a little outdoor hang out spot. Below are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The upper deck has a second captains area, a little covered living room type area, and a big observation type deck. Birthday boy Nick was our very qualified captain today.
Getting underway. It was a little dreary at 10 am...but it burned off a bit.
Jason and Tom out on the bow.
The girls down in one of the bedrooms. Love this group of ladies!
All the guys took a short turn LOL.
Jason searched all over for Miller High Life just for today Hahaha!
Good Life...yes, it is!
Big smiles!
Sure...you are on a yacht, with 2 full bathrooms on board, but please boys pee off the back. This is where the "Shameless" part comes in Hahaha!
It was supposed to be nice today, we were all going to bring swim suits and sun bathe here...oh well, I had to try it out anyway.
Cards Against Humanity and adult beverages...good laughs!
Old stories...Tom, Nick and Jason have been friends since Kindergarten, Barry joined in High School. That's a lot of stories. Especially when you consider they all shared a couple different bachelor pads together. Who the heck would rent a house to this bunch of hooligans? LOL.
Time flies when you are on yacht time. Too soon it was time to head back. Thanks for such a fun day guys!
Birthday dinner...so silly!
