It's a hoedown!

The kids school had a country western theme for their spring program this year. Got some more pics of the Hoedown LOL.

When Jericho got home from school he indulged me for a few pics. Such a little ham.

Xander's team got another win tonight...it was sunny but cold. Bring on the snuggle buddy and blanket!

Knocking off the rust.

Hayden put in some horse training today. Gotta take advantage of this lovely weather while we can. Working him the other day already showed, today he was very willing. I really enjoy this old man.

I only worked him for a few circles, then handed it over to Hayden. She did really well...and he worked for her beautifully.

Resting up after all her hard work.

Skeet, such a copy cat LOL.
Enjoying time off after working for about 15 min...he is looking good, slow going building him back up.

The girls...are all looking prego I think, need to recheck one more time.
Sweet goaties!

Yahtzee loves Jericho.

Starting the old man up.

The sun is out today! Scooter and Hayden got a little lesson with the help of my friends daughter.
We figured a little work out would help Scooter get his mind off Quincy for a bit. He is still calling every now and then for him. So sad.

The old man hasn't been asked to do much all winter...he was a little rusty, but pretty compliant.

Praise for being such a good boy!

Skeet also was interested in a little horsing around LOL!

Goodbye to an old friend.

Poor Scooter. His buddy Quincy left, and he has been calling for him ever since. Going to stall him for a couple days so hopefully he won’t run around like a crazy man burning all his calories searching for his friend. He has the funniest shed going on, summer on top...spring in the middle and winter on bottom LOL. We are on the look out for a new gelding to join the fam...hopefully he won't be alone long.

Somehow a honey bee was in the house today, about to be a zesty Willow snack. Not sure where she came from but I released her outside. Summer hurry up!

Last night, after picking up Skeet we ran out of gas on the way home. What is worse than running out of gas an hour and a half from home? Running out of gas an hour and a half away from home in a cell service dead zone. Thank goodness a couple cars pulled over to see if Skeet and I needed help. 4 guys pushed the car off the road, then they were nice enough to give us a ride to get some gas and then bring us back to the car....an hour round trip. Blew me away, didn’t think people stopped to help others these days...especially out in the middle of nowhere in Tillamook. Met the nicest people and what could have been me and Skeet walking for who knows how long to find cell service turned out not so bad. Thankfully they were not axe murdering crazy people...big plus LOL. My saviors this guy, his girlfriend Monica and their dog Tulip. Need to pay it forward for sure.

Hoppy Easter y'all!

7 am is too dang early. The Easter Bunny traveled a little light this year.

The back yard egg hunt is always fun...all 94 eggs were eventually found.

The cutest lil bunnies!!!!

Hayden made yummy deviled eggs...thanks Grandma for the recipe!

Jericho...nothing says EASTER like Reese's Pieces LOL.
