Now we get hit with a cold?!

We have made it a long time without anyone getting sick, so of course now that summer is pretty much here we all get sick. The last 3 or so days my house has been like a hospital wing. Constant hacking, runny noses, fevers and meds...fun stuff, I'm sure you are sorry to miss it.

Yesterday, while still on quarantine, our neighbor "Katie-Lady" brought the kiddos early birthday gifts. Cute shirts to wear on the 4th of July.

Our poor old TV stand that we bought 4 years ago had seen a lot of use, so we trolled good old Craigslist and found this beauty. We now need to buy a smaller DVD player, so it can fit in the doors...which is fine this one is a back up to our old one that conked out a couple months back.

Since the bookshelf thing didn't really work out too well a few days ago, I thought I would try to turn our old TV stand into some sort of shelf thing for the craft room.

I had a couple helpers, we did a little scuffing and then wiped the shelves down.

I got busy with some new chalk paint...Yay, love this stuff! First coat.

Two coats of the aqua, 1 of the yellow...and a couple more to go each.

Almost there...can't wait to get done with this part.
The kiddos started feeling better late yesterday, thankfully...they had one of their Kindy tests at school today.
The teachers were nice enough to get them all going at the same time...in different rooms, so it didn't take long. I could only see Lily a little, so I snapped a quick picture :) We don't have any results yet.
Speaking of Bug...I have a little funny from yesterday.
We were watching the Chipmunks Squeakquel, in the scene where Eleanor is trying to squeeze through the lock on a door, and it is clear she is not going to make it. Xander says "She is too fat to fit through there." Lily pipes up with "That's mean, we don't say that...her butt is just too big to fit." Yes, Lily...that is much better LOL.

Since we were already there, we decided to stay for the lunch.

Look at my little man, going to dump and stack his tray. He is going to be more than ready for Kindergarten come 2016, wow that seems like a looonnggg time LOL.
