Horse fun.

We dropped off Brandy for a little tune up. She is still more “looky” and nervy than I like. Hopefully the miracle workers can get her figured out.

We also hit the auction again. Hayden came with, and fun was had. We picked up a new mare, Cinder. She is 11 yrs old and 15.1 hands…even though my 6ft tall friend makes her look small LOL. She may not be staying with us long but she was too nice to pass up. The prices this month were quite a bit lower than last month. She is really broke, super legged up. One handed neck reins, confident and quiet under saddle. She just needs a job, she is used to really working on a ranch pulling calves to the fire and doctoring cattle. She would not be happy being a summer weekend warrior. She is a little thin and has some healing bite wounds that we will be addressing while we look for her perfect home, if its not with us. I hope I am right for her, she has all the fancy buttons.

A couple of my favorite red heads watching the Olympics.
