Awww they are starting to play together.

We had some fun around here today, the trio have started actually playing with each other a bit. For a couple weeks now Lily would playfully attack Xander when he is laying down, he laughs and just lays there. Both girls have also noticed he has a little bit of an outie so they try to play with that too. Today she kept going up to him and tried to tickle him, he was laughing and screaming, so Lily would try more tickle tactics. Then she was playing peek a boo with Hayden from behind the drapes...Bug was in quite the playful mood today. Hayden also has a new trick, she has figured out how to press the power button on the tv. She thinks it's so funny to turn it off and on and off and on...over and over again LOL

Some pics...

Flu shots suck!

Jason and I got our flu shots today, we NEVER get them but decided to this year to help protect the babies...who won't be getting them. My arm is sore and but the nurse did a good job and it didn't hurt at all. Jason on the other hand is already feeling crappy, he said this happened the one other time he got the flu shot...hope he is feeling better soon. Awesome news of the day...I am 14 lbs down, go me!!!

Grandma came over to watch the trio while Jason and I went out to get the shots, we also stopped for a little lunch. It was nice to get out just the two of us...funny enough we don't do that too often :) The kiddos napped the whole time we were gone so Grandma stayed for their lunch time, and was very happy that when it came time for her to go Lily got upset. Lily and Grandma are working on patty cake, Lily is getting closer, Hayden loves to clap, and Xan...well he loves to scream. He does have a cute new skill, if he is trying to hand you something and you are not taking it he will grab your hand turn it palm up and place the item in your hand, it is the cutest thing!!! Bug, our resident adrenalin junkie, has been getting very whiny these days if dad stops tossing her about or hanging her up side down or engaging my daughter in other death defying activities that she LOVES. I don't know what we are going to do with that silly girl. Some pics...

Lily trying to rip off daddy's band aid.

Jason got a little carried away taking pics of my band aid :)

High flying Lily...happy as a clam.

Grounded Bug=unhappy Bug.

Trying to make it better with a kiss...

Not helping...very serious Bug.

Hayden says...Dad what does your shirt say...lemme see...

Yes...it says "Rub my wiener for good luck" sad thing is I bought it for him LOL

Hayden and Momma snuggles...awwww

My pretty girl....she was gonna kiss the camera :)

Xan wasn't feeling too photogenic today.

No I don't cook, but I know what's good :)

So the Multiples and More question of the week is about cookies. Mmmm I love thinking about foods I am not eating. I am now down 13 lbs and haven't had a cookie in like 2 months. I have a good recipe for ya though! Thanks to a mommy friend, Rach- these are still my fav cookies, Jason has made these for us a few times now. Here it is...

2 sticks butter (one cup)

1 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 tbsp high quality vanilla extract

dash cinnimon

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1 1/2 cups flour

3 cups rolled oats(optional)

Pam or similar spray(optional)

1 cup chocolate chips,

3/4 cup slivered almonds

3/4 cup of halved macadamia nuts

Preheat oven to 350*.

Cream together butter and sugar, then add eggs, salt, and vanilla.

Stir in flour, baking soda, and any optional ingredients. Mix in oats.

Grease muffin tins if desired, then drop about 2 tbsp into the center of each one.

Bake for uh, like 10 minutes I guess? She made up this recipe so I kinda just eyeball it to see when they're done.

It would not be a blog post with out some sort of pic, so here is one of Xan lovin on OJ kitty.

Happy Birthday To Me!!!

I turned 31 today, thankfully I don't feel that old and, according to Jason, I only look about 26 LOL Yeah he is so sweet :) First I got a fun music card from my dear sister...it's tune, Another One Bites The Dust. Cute Al, don't forget you are only 17 months younger than me! Also remember our pact, if our hubby's are dead and we are old bittys on our own we will be moving in together...I will sabotage your fixadent so watch it! When Jason got home from work he took me and the trio out for dinner. I was craving shrimp so we went to Red Lobster, it was yummy. The babies did so awesome, we were the center of attention but it was a bit different than the usual gawkers. The couple sitting behind us played peek a boo with Hayden and seemed to be really enjoying the babies. The lady got up abruptly and left, her husband was waiting on the check and struck up a little conversation with us. Come to find out they are not able to have children and we ended up making her sad and she had to go wait outside. I felt so bad for her...we have been there...it's not an easy place to be. I was happy to hear they are thinking of adopting. Then at one of the tables close to us was a darling little girl who Xander was totally trying to flirt with. Dinner went great, we actually spent almost an hour and a half before the babies had had enough. We skipped dessert, I was down 10 lbs as of this morning...I am going to wait a couple days to see what damage was done LOL As we were waiting for our check our wonderful waitress, Cinnamon...no I am not kidding, brought over three other waitresses to sing Happy Birthday to me, I think I turned 3 shades of red LOL. As we were leaving we had two other tables of people saying how well behaved the triplets were and that they acted better than most single children at a restaurant. I hope we are not using up all our good behaviour points now, will be a bummer if they start acting up when they get older. Jason insisted we stop for TCBY since I didn't want a birthday cake so that was our tasty treat. We got home and got the trio ready for bed, Jason put all 3 in boy jammies...my poor girls, and then they gave me flowers :) After that it was bottle and bed time and they went out like a light. I am beat, and ready for bed myself. A bunch of pics from today...

Lets go!
