A brand new Xander.

Xander has been looking rather shaggy lately. We have been meaning to get him in for a cut, but have put it off and put it off. So today I decided to just do it myself....eeekkkk! Thankfully you can't really screw up a buzz cut, right?
Almost done...this is about where I had Jason come and finish it up...he did a better job of cleaning it up and fading than I did LOL.

Look at this handsome guy....so cute, but why does a haircut have to age him like 2 years? LOL
Haddie is not one for change, for herself...or even for others LOL. She was freaking out that she wanted her brother back and that people would give him a new name and that he wasn't the same. She got over it soon enough thankfully...silly goose.

Yummy crock pot dinner tonight...DIY chili!

 You need...
2 TBs chili powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1 garlic clove minced
1 TBs olive oil
1 1/4 tsp ground cordiander
1 1/4 tsp ground cumin
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 lb ground beef (we used buffalo meat)
1 TBs sugar
1/2 Tbs dry minced onion
1 small onion diced
28 oz diced tomatoes
15 oz tomato sauce
2 cans kidney beans
1 box of elbow macaroni (optional)
What to do...
Heat oil in a skillet and cook onions for about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for one minute. Add beef and cook till no longer brown. Drain.

In a small bowl place all the dry seasoning ( including sugar) together.

Place 3 tablespoons of seasoning mix into the meat stir together.

In a crock pot add tomatoes, tomato sauce, one can of beans; 2 tablespoons of seasoning mix.

In a blender puree a can of beans, then place the puree into the crock pot.

Mix meat into the crock pot...add any left over seasoning mix.

Cook on low for 5 hours, then switch to keep warm.

Cook macaroni noodles and add to crock pot, let sit with lid off for about 15-20 min.
