Roosters down.

Wick works cheap...kept an eye out for any trouble while my friend and I processed two roosters, for a couple chicken paws (as they call them in the grocery store). Chicken processing photos...warning.

My friend used the "kill cone" it worked well. The cone of death...it is one very easy way to gently dispatch a chicken. You can cut the jugular (as my friend did...she also poked into their brain through their beak), you can use heavy duty scissors/loppers and chop the whole head off too. The cone keeps them from flopping all about...also with the head down and loss of blood they pass out very quickly if you just cut the jugular.

20-30 seconds dipped in hot water and the feather pull out very easily.

Gotta get the bird cleaned out.

Wick was very good...didn't get too excited or worked up at all.

So cute!

Sorry for the nekkid chick pic LOL.

His tasty reward for a job well done. We got to take a few home with us too.

We did a little work on his heeling at the feed store, he is such a good boy.

Got home and shared the chicken paws...Pepe LOVED them!

Hahaha it is almost as big as his head.

This brat...thanks to our neighbors a couple properties down this little turkey is back home safe. He ran off on us today, silly Pepe, there are wild animals out here that poo bigger than you LOL.

Gorgeous day today!

In line for fast food, “Would you like to donate to end child hunger?”
Jericho....”I would like to donate a child named Xander.”
Me....”Buddy thanks, but that is not exactly what they mean."
