Ups and Downs.

Hayden’s team kicked butt today. She has been fighting a tummy bug for a few days so was not at her best, thankfully she has a very talented team. They put a smack down in their second game, but game 1 was the important one. They beat the one undefeated team left, 26 to 20! We moved into 1st place last week because we won and they, for some reason, didn’t play. Today we beat them, so that should clench 1st for us. We are now 9 and 1. Last games for this team are next Sunday.

Auntie Amber and Cousin Hailee came to watch. Hayden looks silly tall next to Hailee. The trio had to get measured in school a couple weeks ago. Xan is 5 foot, Lily is 5’2” and Hayden is almost 5’4” LOL

The other 3 were at a Bday party while we had Hayden at her games.

Came home to bad news. Baby goats can go down so fast. I was just giving these guys fallen fir tree limbs yesterday, and didn't notice anything off about them besides looking cold...and well it is cold. Today I found both our keeper bucklings down, cold, pale eyes and poopy. We hit them with Valbazen, Toltrazuril, Red Cell, Vit B, Nutri-Drench and a homemade electrolytes mix. Sadly we couldn't pull them through it.

Home made electrolyte mix.
2 qrt warm water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup molasses
add a dash of ACV.
