Bye NOLA.

It’s sunny and 80 today in NOLA. We are going home tonight to snow. Got some great pics from a friend checking on the horses, she made sure Brandy got her meds every day. Thankfully Brandy is doing great and looks to have made a full recovery. I can not thank our animal caretakers enough, I am always so stressed when we leave, they make it possible for me to enjoy myself at all while away from home.

Our last day in New Orleans was wonderful...until the trip home. It was sunny, 80 degrees, and we just strolled around. My sis and nieces left early this morning, our flight was not until 6pm. Such a fun week!

We ran into a server that we had help us at dinner a couple days ago. He is also a big anime fan and hit it off with the kids. We met so many wonderful people in NOLA.

A lot of great performers and artists to enjoy.

Red Light, Green Light on the Great Lawn.

Not how the end of our trip was supposed to go. 3 hours waiting at the New Orleans airport for a late plane. Ends up causing us to miss our connection in Seattle to get home to PDX. No flights out until 6 am and no rental cars. Fanfuckingtastic. Well finally found a rental car, $1,000 for 12 hours LOL the airline better reimburse. 2 hour drive home..hopefully we beat Santa.
