Building a birdie house.

For some reason the baby dolls the girls got on Christmas had a birthday already...and were in need of a party. Jason was nice enough to indulge our little party planners and bought some mini cupcakes.

The party had to be held in the girls bedroom, since they spent time "decorating" last night. Scarlett and Sophia, the guests of honor, were so excited for their party.

Decorations, repurposed goodie bags, and some pretend cake. They thought of just about everything.

Yummy, the best time of the party LOL.

They of course had gifts for the girls.

It was a fun party, hopefully the next one isn't in 5 months...I may need to explain that birthday's once a year apply to dolls too.

After the party the kids and I got the bird houses finished up!

I did the finger print flowers that I always do on the terra cotta pots that we make. It is just so easy, and adds that personal touch. The pots are always a big hit, I am glad we are in a new school district now, so we can do them for their Kindy teachers gifts this year! A couple of my faves, ours first pots....and then the last ones we made too.

Everyone gets a turn to make finger prints all over one side of their bird house.

Then I went to work making the finger prints flower centers, thanks for the pictures Xander LOL.

They helped decorate the roofs too.

All done! Nice job kiddos...now lets just hope we get a couple bird families to move in :)

I guess they are pretty cute yard decorations, even if the birds don't care for the paint job.
